Good riddance. I don’t believe in heaven or hell, but I want to believe just so I can think this POS is rotting in hell. Glad he didn’t die when Trump was president, he probably would have gotten a state funeral. |

He inspired one of my favorite Simpsons one-off characters, the hilariously loathsome and pathetic Birch Barlow.

Considering he used to celebrate people dying from AIDS on his show this seems appropriate: https://youtu.be/rY0WxgSXdEE _________________ “No man ever steps in the same river twice, for it's not the same river and he's not the same man.” - Heraclitus |

As he began his radio career as a Top 40 DJ, it's only fitting that he goes out as the #1 hit on many celebrity death pool teams.

Nor do I . . . but Limbaugh wasn't people.
He wished death on gay people and others who died of AIDS and literally celebrated when they died. The world is a better place without vermin like him and it's a shame he wasn't gone much, much sooner. _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

Even though I'm extremely left-wing, I can't say I'm glad Limbaugh is dead because that would mirror that kind of crap some MAGA people say, plus it would probably be bad karma.
But I'm not exactly mourning his death, and as DaMuleRules said above, the world is a better place without people like Limbaugh. _________________ The Lakers and Dodgers are the reigning world champs.

Trying to kill someone, wishing them dead, enjoying their death, and being glad they died, are all very different parts of a continuum, and context matters. I’m glad because alive he was as responsible as any single person for the hatred on the GOP side of the aisle, responsible for real deaths and countless suffering. So while trying to kill him is wrong, wishing for his death is wrong, and enjoying it on a visceral level of pleasure is wrong, being glad that he cannot do what he does any longer is neither wrong nor what the GOP haters do. _________________ “We must always take sides. The chasm between those two is so vast they aren't even on the same continent. _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

They are on a continuum on this topic though. Actively looking to cause a death, wishing for it, enjoying it if it happens, and being fine with it happening when it does are all possible reactions to a person one finds abhorrent. _________________ “We must always take sides. Not at all. By that rationalization, you may as well add advocating for the genocide of all people similar to Limbaugh to the top of your chain of continuum. _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know
