Betty White is still here(I think she played Sue Ann Nevins?)
Regardless I remember Cloris from Facts of Life above all else.
May she RIP |

Such a versatile talent who excelled on the big and small screens and from comedies like Young Frankenstein to heartbreaking dramatic roles as in The Last Picture Show.
What an impressive career and life. May she rest in peace. _________________ https://youtube.com/watch?v=MPeP09FV3tk |

She was a remarkable performer, and was insanely funny when the role called for it. She won EIGHT Primetime Emmys, tied with Julia Louis-Dreyfus for the most ever. (She garnered an incredible 22 nominations.) If that wasn't enough, she also won an Oscar and a BAFTA for her role in The Last Picture Show. May she rest in peace. _________________ THE JOB IS FINISHED! |

I loved her as Mary Richards' insecure, hausfrau neighbor on the Mary Tyler Moore show. Years later I realized that she played a fun-loving bit role as a saloon prostitute on Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, which I didn't realize until I played it for my son. But she did serious roles as well, her portrayal of Ruth Popper in The Last Picture Show was sublime. |

She was a wonderfully funny actress who bounced back and forth between mainstream tv and film success when that was very uncommon. 22 Emmy nominations is crazy to contemplate while also having an Oscar to her name.
And she was a prolific working actor until the day she died. She gave one of her best film performances in Spanglish a little over a decade ago. She was in the "Wonder Woman" pilot. She voiced a sweet old animated woman with incontinence in Beavis and Butthead Do America. She has 3-4 more projects in the can at the time of her passing. Cloris Leachman was a pro's pro. _________________ https://youtube.com/watch?v=MPeP09FV3tk |

Absolutely. She was even very good in that Comedy Central Roast of Bob Saget, back in 2008. I mention this because I was there at the taping in the audience. She was crass and swearing and it worked to great comedic effect. She was truly a brilliant performer. _________________ THE JOB IS FINISHED! |

Yeah, I rewatch Spanglish specifically to enjoy her portrayal. _________________ “We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.” ― Elie Wiesel |

And don't forget Cloris and George Clooney in the mid 80s iteration of Facts Of Life, thank you very much! Taking over for Mrs. Garrett isn't no easy task, my friend. _________________ GOAT MAGIC REEL

No. She wasn't very good at the Saget roast. She killed. Her asking someone to punch her in the face so she could see some stars would have been a good one on its own, but that was just a blip in her set |
