Is that too subtle?

You clearly didn’t understand. It’s ok, just move on

Everything was there for him and he couldn't get it done...or was an inch away.

James Harden is such an epic choker. I just think he will hold Brooklyn back from ever winning anything.

it will be interesting to see the new foul rules. Its still mind-blowing that he has more FT's than FG's in his career.

Harden's a pro. He'll lose one of his ploys, jumping into the defender. He'll find another way to get fouls called. He really is fouled quite a bit. What irks fans is how much he exaggerates.

This hype for the Nets is reaching epic proportions. Right up there with the Clippers 2019-20 season. We all know how that ended.

Exactly! All we keep hearing is how old the Lakers are and the Nets go out and sign 2 36 year olds and people are drooling......

You can’t make this up.....

So Aldridge/Griffin/Millsap trying to guard AD/Dwight/Jordan and trying to keep them off the boards... GL with that...

Those guys are versatile enough to guard Aldridge/Griffin/Millsap

Agree to disagree. All of the basketball metrics show that Kevin Durant had a historic series against the Bucks (35/10/5 on 51% shooting). His game 5 performance (49/17/10/2/3) without Kyrie is ranked #3 on the playoff gamescore: https://www.basketballreference.com/leaders/game_score.html

The Bucks won because they were the healthier team, not better. It's basically the same situation that happened here with AD going down, and the Suns advancing as a result.

Seems Brooklyn is loading up on skilled players while we are stocking up on physically imposing players

What's more important in basketball??

Our physically imposing players are also pretty skilled and, unlike the Nets, play defense.

The Nets are obviously prioritizing shooting over everything. They are trying to create a style of their own like the Warriors few years ago.

They'll still need a center. What helped the warriors tremendously was having Bogut as a last line of defense, and then McGee. The Nets would need a solid center and that would pretty much fill up any gap they have. Because Blake at the 5 I don't think is a year long solution.

Let’s be honest, the Lakers getting call aarp is mainly due to lebron being 36-37, and KD is 32, lebron is our main guy, so that’s the narrative.

I don’t see that honestly becoming the deciding factor. High pressure players get it done while guys who can’t handle the spotlight choke.

Just look at Giannis FT shooting against the Suns. That 50 point game wasn’t he like 12/13 or something?

Shaq hit them when it mattered too. That’s why the playoffs are a different beast…the mentally tough players shine.
