Just like last series with Denver they cane out flat game 3 and tried to play catch up and it wasn’t enough. The BBall Gods didn’t award them and rightfully so.
You win with class, you lose with class. Walking off the court before the final buzzer shows poor sportsmanship.
When you have a GOD-like complex you believe you can do anything you want which is why I don't f##k with these athletes. I used to when it was Magic and I was a kid but now I just root for the name in the front of the uniform.
Getting beat by 18 in the paint is (bleep) unacceptable.
How can that even happen?
I am a big Frank Vogel guy since his hire, but this was not his best work tonight. Spoelstra baited us into 3's from our worst 3 point shooters and we made zero adjustments to Butler.
Look for a whole different mindset (and three different officials) in Game 4. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny

That was a very weird incident and will cause a lot of unnecessary analysis between now and game 4.
What happened? I must have missed that.
IF they do it will be silly. LBJ walks off the floor early all the time, even when the team is ahead
I guess it was more than just LeBron. I wasn't paying attention b/c I was texting folks but I heard Breen say they had to call people back because there had to be 5 players on the floor to close out the game. ??? Not sure what we were doing....
They had it, for but a brief moment, but extremely poor play and coaching cost them.
At one juncture, the Lakers had taken back the lead at 91-89, and momentum seemed to be their way. Heat called a timeout, and then the Lakers started playing poorly...During the next 2-3 minutes, Heat would outscore the Lakers 10-3 where LBJ traveled twice and Rondo turned over the ball with a bad pass. 99-94. Lakers never got closer than 4 after that.
Perhaps one of the key sequences was with about 5 minutes to go. Lakers down 6. They had one possession where they had 3 offensive rebounds and four shots...they failed to score. Games like this for the lakers, almost all year, where they have lost had sequences like this in the fourth.
As this game played out we saw an incredibly passive AD. He was not nearly aggressive enough, only scoring 15 points. He had only 5 rebounds. While he had some nice defensive plays in the fourth his refusal to be more aggressive on offense hurt the team...alot of standing around the 3 point line, and tossing the ball back to LBJ or Rondo as soon as he got it. No attempts to move, no real movement period.
On the whole, the Lakers were IMO out physicaled. Their shooting was a poor 43% (compared to Heat's 51%. WHile the Lakers had more rebounds (43-37), it was the Heat who attacked the paint more outscoring the Lakers 48-34.
Turnovers in general were terrible. 10 in the first quarter set the tone. The Lakers would finish with 20.
Then, of course, the coaching. The absolute refusal by Vogel to switch up their defense on Butler as Butler kept doing the same thing over and over...get to the lane, if a smaller guy punish him for a high percentage shot. When other wings in other series got hot Vog would double them - nope, he insisted on keeping the same matchups which often led to same results. Butler ended up shooting 70%, 14-20. That's ridiculous. He'd also garner a triple double. He also outshot at the FT line AD/LBJ 14 attempts to 11.
Overall, a frustrating game to watch. Lakers did not appear to have the type of energy to match what Miami was bringing. When they did give themselves chances they'd cause self-inflicted wounds with poor offensive possessions and uninspired coaching.
As a side note...the past 6 quarters? Heat have won 5 of them, and there was 1 tie. The Heat outscored the Lakers in every quarter tonight. This pattern just needs to stop.

I had to run errands and missed the last 6 minutes. What happened?
The Heat took the 24 second violation and the Lakers had to throw the ball in for the final second. A bunch of Lakers had already walked off the court and they didn’t have 5 guys so the game was delayed.
Vogel sucked a big one coaching this game....
Where is the rim protection?
I hope the Lakers are pissed
Played like dog crap
Everyone
again he is not a good coach
I could not understand his refusal to do anything to help vs Butler. He was hot...if others beat you fine but the same philosophy used in other series he did not use here.
