Murray played 44 min and was a +16. That's nuts in a loss.

What adjustments do the Lakers need to do on offense to avoid being thwarted so much? That was pretty putrid to watch alot of the time in the second half. I'm sure the Nugs will repeat exactly what they did the second half in game 3, except for 48 minutes. We cant win playing that way on offense for 48 minutes.

Exactly. Silver lining in their loss tonight is they found a way around our defense came back and took the lead.

We were cruising a lot of times for sure but can’t let their energy guys like Morris, Dozier, Plumlee rack up all these momentum buster points.

Denver takes a 1 point lead , Danny answers with a rare three point make. Denver gets our lead back down to 3 then KCP hits a flat footed shot clock buzzer beater three.

If Lebron doesn’t have an off second half we should of won this game easily.

Lots to clean up moving forward in this series.

Vogel do work! 🙏🏀🙏🏀🙏

That’s why the score was so misleading. The Lakers would keep letting them back in but if they ever got close or took a lead, the Lakers had a quick decisive answer.

I guess I'm not as humble as some of you are.

Another loser franchise in Denver that won't excel past celebrating a second round victory.

They already sealed their fate and unfortunately, are left having to face the most dominant team in basketball.

Sucks to be them.

Crushing loss for Denver. Lakers don't get punished for coming out flat in the majority of the 2nd half. I thought our rotations were weird today too and that goes unpunished. Now we can make our adjustments to potentially put this series on lock.

What I want to see in game 3 is an adjustment to the Nuggs defense against Bron in the 4th. Not enough space for him to operate. Also they are starting to figure our D against Joker.

Wish I could agree, but Vogel was extremely stubborn today with the lineups which is typical for his rotations. When bleeding occurred he refused to make changes. Their D really did not recover until about the 4th quarter, but by then their offense was pretty stagnant.

I'm very happy with the W but I will say if the Lakers dont adjust on offense, it's not going to be pretty. I'm hoping Vogel earns his paycheck by next game, cuz anyone on this board could have done what he did tonight (which was, frankly, not much from what I could see - he was bailed by extremely tough shots by alot of Laker players).

I’m guessing you guys and including me are thinking the weird rotations was Dwight’s usage tonight. I felt foul trouble and early techs limited his burn tonight.

I felt when Vogel went with Markieff and Kuz earlier he was trying to get more offense and hoping we can go on run with our small ball lineup.
Obviously didn’t work as players like Dozier, Morris, and Dozier took advantage.

Lots of film work tonight/tomorrow

gotta clean it up

Man some of those foul calls on the Lakers in the second half were frustrating, especially when they showed replays and all you saw were blocks.

Regardless, felt like the Lakers were shooting more from the perimeter in the second half, and not the greatest shot selection particularly from Lebron in the 4th. But then again, he also had a strong first half and did hit that key layup with the crazy English in the 4th as well.

That AD buzzer beater felt great of course. A classic clutch moment to add to Lakers Playoff lore.

Bring on Game 3.

That is absolutely crazy! So, in the four minutes he was sitting, the Lakers outscored the Nuggets by 18 points? Wow.

By the way, Jokic was a -6 for the game.

lol rondo had no reaction to AD's game winner.

For the next game, lebron needs to be Lebron for 4 quarters, not just 2.

And I would like to see Dwight come in earlier. He pretty much only played in quarters 2 and 4.

Well, talk to Lebron about what Jodeke calls ill advised 3s, maybe will help

Offense was horrible starting second qter. Have to fix that next game. The only good thing is Murray is playing huge minutes, he’ll eventually wear down.

Obviously nights like this happen as no team is perfect. We were definitely sloppy as hell in the second half. An we didn’t have that killer instinct we seen the past 6-7 games.

Gotta clean it up and realize getting 6 more wins are not going to be easy.
Gotta get back in the film room and laboratory and keep leveling up.

Murray's only 23
he can probably play big minutes for the rest of the series

This. +1

We've got to clean up the TOs no doubt but...no way Denver was 10 more FT aggressive.
