Don't underestimate the Rockets; they will come out firing on all cylinders.

With a win today we will likely end the Rockets era of Harden/Westbrook + D’Antoni.... it’s gonna be a beautiful day today if we can make it happen.

It will also likely be the end to small ball as a only option. Small ball will be used during the game when it's a good offense against a particular defense. The concept will not disappear all together.

They just didn't adjust much so far - not sure if they will...

They won't D'Antoni is a one-trick pony.

Yeah this will not be easy. I hope the Lakers don’t think the rockets are going to quit and go home.

I wouldn’t mess around tonight if I’m the Lakers. Don’t let them back in it and risk a game 6 hot shooting night...

Lets get the back door sweep in a not so gentlemanly way!

Also... lets get Dantoni and his gimmick offense fired

D’Antoni has been on the hot seat even before bubble. The only way he stays is if they win it all and even then he might say (bleep) you and leave.

Agreed. If there is a team in the bubble that can win 3 consecutive games, it's the Rockets. They have the talent and ability. We can't take our foot off their throat so to speak.

Yep.

Rockets don't have cylinders. They have nozzles and can only carry limited amounts of fuel and oxygen. The Rockets are going to flame out, fall back towards Earth and crash today.

Pre Game Notes

Per Trudell

Frank Vogel said the Lakers played both big and small all regular season (starting with a big, but often going to small groups within games) in part to prep for playoff situations where they had to do more of one style. Bigger vs. Portland, smaller vs. Houston, etc.

Rockets coach Mike D’Antoni said he’d save any thoughts on the Danuel House, Jr. situation until later: “We have one mission to do and that’s to win a game, and that’s all we’re thinking about."

Per Goon

Kurt Rambis has joined the Lakers travel party inside the bubble and is here for the game tonight.

Per Faigen

Frank said that he decided to start Markieff rather than Kuzma when going small because "Keef is like in between Kuz and our centers. So we still have some size and rebounding, and we keep Kuz in his role, so there is value for both of those guys in doing it the way we do it."

Does 1/2 of the Rambii get credit for prepping Playoff Rondo outside of the bubble

Same as it ever was. Only way Rockets win is if they get ridiculously hot from 3 and we go ice cold. We need to focus cause this can happen.

Go Lakers!!
