Saints were all in this year....they are going to have a tough time putting a contender on the field next year with their salary cap situation.

The biggest reason I liked Tampa in this game was Brees. He just limits their offense so much. Sad to see a legend go out like this, though.

Is he going to stick around as a backup or retire?

Jay Glazer reported before the game that he is going to retire.

retire....take a good look, because this is the last time you will see a legend on the field.

He already has a broadcasting contract with NBC. My guess is to replace the very tired Cris Collinsworth.

Third straight home playoff loss for Brees. Certainly over the last 2 years, he hasn't shown the arm strength to get the ball down the field at all.

dang, I thought it was because you wanted me to be happy.

I was cheering for your Rams....would have given the Bucs a chance to play the NFC Championship Game and SuperBowl on their home field if they could have beat the Rams.

That was a methodical 2nd half by the Bucs.....not hard to believe that Brady is going back to the conference championship game.

yeah, I worded poorly....meant that specific legend. Brees will go down among a handful of the very best QB's

Bucs playing their best football at the right time of the year....they will be underdogs going into Green Bay but it wouldn't surprise me to see them with an upset.

14 conference championship games in one career is ridiculous. That will likely never be matched.

I have seen 22 year olds literally cry taking their uniform off for the last time knowing they would never wear pads again.....I can only imagine what it will be like for Brees to take them off after probably 35 years of strapping up every Fall.
