Actually better to go big against them. Going small plays into their hands.

We might have problems in the first game because of the long rest but we should win the series. Lakers in 5 or 6.

Playing Kuzma at C is playing into their hands. Playing AD at C is just smart.

Imagine if Vogel rings Walton for advice:

Walton - "Well Houston are small. So we also want to be small, because we don't want to be caught unexpectedly larger, that would be a disaster. So Kuzma to the 5, Rondo to the 4, this will emphasize our teenyness."

Will be interesting to see how the rotations change for this series. As many have pointed out the Lakers have options.

We do know that the Rockets don't. They will attempt to force their style, the will play hard and they will keep shooting threes. They are who they are.

Lakers should win this series if they can once again “ flip the switch” and match the intensity that HOU will bring. Lakers are rested and have distinct advantages to exploit. Going to be a great series of runs. Which is fine as long as the Laker runs are the game Enders!

Go Lakers!

i think Houston now found a new lease on life so to speak after that 7 game series will be very confident. Harden plays best when no pressure's on, so expect him to have monster games at the beginning of the series. the key is westbrook, we can't let his penetration get our bigs into early foul troubles. scrubs always show up against the Lakers, so i fully expect House, Rivers putting up big numbers against us.

DEFENSE is once again the key.
Our perimeter guys will have to be on top of their game. If KCP, Green & AC give us the defensive intensity that they are capable of bringing we should be in good shape.
    GO LA!!

Just have to hope the foul trouble balances out. Tucker, Covington and any rotations have little chance not piling up fouls against the Lakers in the paint.

I give them credit for their energy and frantic style of defense but Laker size can and should dominate the paint and second chance points. HOU does a good job at rooting out and stripping to keep the ball alive.

Lakers have to play with that same desire to make a play, every play. No plays off. Those “scrubs” have distinct roles and make a living making plays by creating scrambling opportunities, making it ugly and getting those wide open shots when the defense breaks down or slacks off even for a moment.

i hope refs in our series let us play just like the OKC series. Harden is not scary if he doesn't get to march 20 times to foul line each game.

6 games is the likely scenario imo. A sweep of the Rockets will be pretty surprising.

How do these midgets grab rebounds? Our bigs are gonna get every offensive rebound on every miss. I'd prefer a 4-0 but I think we might go 4-1.

If Harden played the entire series like he did last night, it would be a easiest 4-0 sweep ever.

Legler makes a lot of sense, but I’m just waiting to see the scheme Vogel and staff have strategized because the last real matchup at Staples was playing right into Rockets strength.

Also we will be in trouble if we try to post up AD, Dwight and JaVale. The rockets would love for the Lakers to waste almost the entire shot clock and have one of the bigs chuck up an inefficient, tough shot.

Hopefully it’s all facing up and attack basketball sprinkled with Lebron posting up because we know what he does at an elite level finding open guys or getting to the rim.

Yeah, why do I get the feeling Jeff Green is gonna explode?

Have to look out for Convington and Gordon we need to make sure they don’t kill us with 3’s, both have a history of showing up against the Lakers.
