If the Lakers take it lightly thinking this will be easy without Dame, they will lose. _________________ Klutch Angeles Lakers |

Portland players probably want to go home as soon as possible, I don't think there will be too many problems tonight |

Simply need to be focused and end this series. Anything less will be disappointing.
Will be interesting to see if the Blazers play like they are ready to go home or if the battle. They have some young athletic players that play hard. Lakers have to match that and exert their will on this Blazer team.
Jump on them early with smothering defense and hit some shots. Hopefully this game is over by halftime. We will see which Laker team shows up. |

If the Lakers and any NBA Team wants to make a "Statement" ..
Instead of sitting out and ending the series, how about the team that wins the championship, donating all of their Rings and Finals money to the a fund for the victims families? _________________ “Always remember... Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.” |

Lakers vs Portland, playoffs:
1977 - POR
1983 - LAL
1985 - LAL
1989 - LAL (1st Round)
1991 - LAL
1992 - POR (1st Round)
1997 - LAL (1st Round)
1998 - LAL (1st Round)
2000 - LAL
2001 - LAL (1st Round)
2002 - LAL (1st Round)
2020 - LAL? (1st Round)
This is why Porty fans generally hate us. In the 82nd RS gm in 97, Porty winning locked them into a 1st round Laker matchup and they played as hard as any other game, the doofs. Why they would've thought Sabonis was gonna enjoy 4-5 gms against Shaq, I dunno, but foolish egos. We may not win at Porty (til this year) in the RS, but we're 10-10 against them at Portland in our playoff history and 12-10 counting the Bubble "road" games, which the NBA will count sans asterisk, trust. We're 10-10 at least, which is fantastic.

Looking to close it out tonight. No Dame Dolla. Dame's a competitor, he must really be hurting. Hope the game airs on TNT. Sometimes because of the Spectrum SportsNet contract, the games are only aired on SPN. Stu and Bill are OK. But eh.
