We need to blow them out. Can’t mess around with close games because Dame has nothing to lose firing up bombs, same with CJ they are playing with no pressure and HCA doesn’t exist right now.
We are gonna have to play like a real 1 seed to create some doubt in their minds. |

Must win. Not sure the Lakers can pull it off though. I was hoping the last few games of struggling would dissipate, but the shooting has been (bleep). 5 for 30+ won’t get it done from outside. It was cringy when LeBron said Kuzma has to play like the third best player in order to win a title. LeBron was accurate but I don’t think Kuzma is that kind of player. He was clearly surprised that clutch shot went in before the playoffs and bragged like he won game 7. He’s not good enough to be the reliable 3rd best player on a championship team. LeBron and AD each need to average 30+ pts a game to win this series. It’s deceptive to say the Blazers are an 8 seed because they are better than that. Also, Damian Lillard has to be stopped on the defensive end somehow.

I wish we would just go all out and start Markieff. We probably should have used the seeding games to get him ready for that role. We needed the two headed Centers to get us through the season, but we just need one healthy one for the playoffs. Start AD at Center and bring Dwight is as the backup.
Even if they play Nurk and Whiteside together Kieff is strong enough to box out and Lakers can gang rebound. If Blazers are trying to post up against AD/Kieff then I would be happy about that. |

Them playing 2 centers at the same time and packing the paint is embarrassing.
