Airpods and working out

I've been thinking of buying a pair of AirPods, which I would mainly use at the gym.

Can anyone with AirPods who might use them at the gym tell me if its worth it?

I’ve had the originals and now the pros and they have both been the best thing I’ve used for working out — along with regular everyday use.

they're awesome; just keep in mind that if you get the originals they don't have any noise cancelling nor isolating. so anywhere that's loud they will suck

I have the originals....use them at the gym daily without issue.

Note...I noticed my airpods were not as loud recently. Looked through some online fixes, and found one that worked. I usually always clean mine with alcohol swabs...and they appeared clean. Still I guess some dry skin or wax had got in them even though I could not see it. Took a soft toothbrush and went over the grill on each one of them for like 10 seconds and sound is very loud again.

If they fit your ears, then they work amazingly great. But a small percentage of people seem to have issues where the OG AirPods have trouble staying in their ears.

I’d recommend getting the AirPod Pros, though. The noise cancelling and sound are very decent, and they have rubber inserts that go into the ear canal that make them more secure, IMO. Not cheap at 250, but worth it IMO.
