We'll miss AB, but I agree we still have a solid rotation for the playoffs and JR Smith or whoever they sign won't have much of an impact.

LBJ, KCP/AC, DG, Kuz and AD is a staunch five-man squad. We only need 3-4 more guys in the rotation from Dwight, Javale, AC/KCP (whoever doesn't start), Morris, Rondo, Cook, Dudley and Waiters/JR and we're in business.

If Shumpert/JR/Nick Young/whoever gets a lot of minutes, it's because a few guys on our roster got sick and we'll be screwed anyway.

always been on board the jr smith train. i'd trust him more than anyone not named lebron, AD or DG to hit a shot in the playoffs. since we can't replace AB's defense, let's go all offense.

I lean this way in terms of the shot making.

I’m not sure KCP is going to shoot as well as he has this season. I’m nervous about if he can sustain his great shooting season. I think he’s at 39%.

Not worried about JR’s shooting, he is not likely to play more than 5 minutes anyway. Just not to make dumbass losing basketball plays when he is on the court. Same applies to Waiters.

Per Dave McMenamin JR Smith is likely the guy to replace Avery Bradley.

He also mentioned that if Dwight declines, Kenneth Faried is a likely replacement. Yikes!

Weren't the players supposed to decide by Friday? Still no word on Dwight's decision?

It was a “soft” deadline. July 1 is the hard date where NBA must be notified.

If Faried can play at the level when he played with the Rockets that would be pretty nice but I much rather have Howard no doubt.

I’ll put it this way...if Dwight declines I would rather give minutes to Cacock than Faried.

Yeah I prefer Cousins over Cacok, I want someone with experience playing in the playoffs.

He is leaning towards not coming back until 2020-21 season. However, he did hedge so definitely he would be the choice if Dwight declines and Boogie says he’s available.

I guess we all have our own opinions...but I would take Faried over Cacock any day. Experience is much more valuable at this time. Having said that I would also take Allonzo Trier over JR Smith, Swaggy or anyone else.

Marc Stein @TheSteinLine

The Lakers, league sources say, are expected to finalize a rest-of-the-season contract with J.R. Smith before Tuesday's 11:59 PM ET closure of the NBA's "transaction window"

Rosters for the NBA restart at Walt Disney World must be turned in to the league office Wednesday

Buckle up. Hopefully Dwight has already told the FO that he is in.

He was seen shooting with JaVale so I think he’s in

The second that lineup takes the floor it will trigger the blood moon and Cthulhu will emerge to begin his forever reign. It’ll be very 2020.

The last time we saw JR at an organized NBA team event

I’m sure Lebron and AD are able to see if he is serious. I would love if it plays out exactly like it did with Dwight.
