Lakers get: Lowry and Simons

Raptors get: Green, Bradley, THT, Cook and #14

Blazers get: Kuzma

Why for Lakers?

Lowry is a winner and he would fit well with Lebron because he is a low usage point guard that plays well off the ball. The Lakers were interested in drafting Simons. He is young and has potential.

Why for Raptors?

Lowry is aging and the Raptors may be on the verge of maxing out his long term replacement in Van Vliet. The Raptors also free up some more space by taking about 6 million less in salary. They are already familiar with Green. He helped them win a ring. Bradley provides D and guard depth. Cook is salary filler. THT and #14 helps them build more for the future.

Why for Blazers?

Carmelo is aging and is a free agent. Kuzma could be their power forward.

The deal wouldn't interest me if I were Toronto.

I don't see any evidence that Portland is ready to give up on him, so this is just all pretty random.
