Excellent!
Jeanie/Lakers should make a contribution or match his checks. |

Now that’s a great great idea.
Dwight has kept to his word this year. Despite the circumstances with his son who mother that died, he is still making it. |

Can we all give Dwight a little love? He came back, played great, attempted to make amends with Kobe, and now commits to the home stretch during uncertain times.
Thanks Dwight! |

The CBA wouldn't allow her to do that. Making a donation to a player's non-profit would be a form of cap circumvention. Otherwise, superstars who were offered the max salary by several teams could base their decision on which team made the biggest donation to their charity. |

This really speaks for Dwight...not only did he sign for the minimum...his production has been great...and now he's going to play even though he has a 6 year old who lost his mother this year, while still donating the rest of his salary, $700,000, to a cause. What a changed man! |

As a father, no, not at all. Gordon Hayward does seem to have his priorities straight though. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

Mike Trout said the same...will maybe not play due to child birth. This coming from the best player in MLB. |

I figure these guys' personal lives and priorities are their business, not mine.
I neither applaud Dwight for coming back nor criticize him for coming back.
Every NBA player made their choice based on their personal assessment of the risk and what matters to them. |

Without Dwight, WC champion likelihood imo would have been Clippers 50%, Rockets 40%, Lakers 10%.
With Dwight, imo it’s Lakers 50%, Clippers 30%, Rockets 20%.
Dwight is that important to the Lakers scheme, lineups and defensive strategies. |

So, no props to any of the NBA players who are fathers and decided to play? _________________ On Lakersground, a concern troll is someone who is a fan of another team, but pretends to be a Lakers fan with "concerns". |
