What’s Cj with his nagging broken back, Nurk, Trent, and Melo gonna bring?
They’ve actually all been playing well. (CJs been up and down but he’s injured). But that said we still got this. Even if they are a tough out for us, they’re still an Out, I believe. Assuming were even playing them right because Memphis could win the play in and then that’s a whole other ball game literally.
You think Memphis is going to beat them in 2 out of 2 games?
This sounds like another pipe dream of thinking that rockets will go to no 3 seed
Funny thing is, 8th seed has an advantage over 9th in play in. But 1st seed has no advantage whatsoever in whole playoffs
We don’t even know who we are playing. Everyone else does. _________________ “You have to dance beautifully in the box that you are comfortable dancing in.” - Kobe Bryant

The good thing about facing Portland in the first round is that our guys will be focused like a laser. If we faced Memphis our guys might get complacent and overconfident, which may carry over to the 2nd round. _________________ Lakers 49ers Chargers Dodgers

LeBron usually puts up beastly numbers early in the playoffs. If he and AD both do that, and our role players play up to their ability, we may have an outside chance of sweeping Portland. But realistically we will probably win it in 6 or 7 games. _________________ Lakers 49ers Chargers Dodgers
I didn't watch the game but if we can't beat a team that barely wins against the Nets in their most important game of the year yet, then we don't deserve to win anything at all
Go watch LEBRONTO videos if you really want to get hyped. He took it to them all. DD, Lowry, Siakam, VanFleet, Ross, Val, OG. Made a whole nation crumble. _________________ “You have to dance beautifully in the box that you are comfortable dancing in.” - Kobe Bryant

Cuz I'm not a prisoner of the moment.
Either that, or I'm delusional
I'm thinking 6 games. But if we get OKC in the 2nd round instead of HOU. I could see us being relatively healthy/fresh heading into the Clippers conference finals. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better”

Portland reminds of the 05-07 Lakers. Mediocre team, but any team with Kobe/Lilliard has a chance of winning in a seven game series. _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:

We have some issues too. LBJ’s groin, our 3 point scoring, no Avery, scoring issues, KCP not himself, Green is old, Caruso’s neck, JR doesn’t belong on the court, Dion is a head scratcher, McGee is being a weirdo, Howard is a walking foul.
We can do it, but we aren’t the same team that beat LAC and MIL. It’s going to be a tough road. _________________ “You have to dance beautifully in the box that you are comfortable dancing in.” - Kobe Bryant

EVEN THE CLIPPERS DON’T KNOW WHAT’S GOING ON - HARRELL
Or they can’t say...
Per Ohm
Asked if the Clippers are not sure when Montrezl Harrell will return out of quarantine: "No. We have an idea. But it's not ideal, let me put it that way."
Montrezl Harrell is expected to clear quarantine on Monday and will be eligible to be activated for Game 1 against Dallas. Harrell was given a 7-day quarantine, sources told @wojespn and I.

We just beat the Clippers inside the bubble though? All while shooting bad while Lebron and AD didn't even have great games or really not a single Laker at all played "great". I'd be shocked if it goes beyond 5 games (with that one possible loss due to a heroic performance by Lilliard).
You'll see a completely different energy come Playoffs (wont be seeing end of bench guys getting heavy minutes either).. I don't love light switch mentality but it's hard when you got the 1 seed wrapped up so early and are full of veterans who have been there already. There's a reason Vegas still has us as the odds on favorite to win it all...
Props to Lilliard so far but he has no chance of beating this Lakers team on his own like it's been lately.
I can't wait to see the "completely different energy" playoff Lakers. This is exactly what the last two years has been about. Winning a Championship!
I couldn't care less if they win it ugly by grinding it out or in dominating fashion. And I don't care about "flipping the switch" or in any of the excuses about why they aren't good enough to win. Just win.
Lakers have 4 series, 16 wins and avg of 2 losses per series. 24 games left. Time to take care of business as a team. Just win!

BUBBLE NEWS - GET WELL SOON DERRICK JONES - MIAMI
Oh dear...
Per NBA.com
Miami Heat forward Derrick Jones Jr. was carted off the court and fitted for a neck brace after colliding with Indiana Pacers center Goga Bitadze late in the third quarter Friday.
Jones was trying to get around a screen from Bitadze when he collided with the 6-foot-11 center and fell to the floor. Jones lay on his stomach for several minutes with his right hand over the back of his head.
He had a towel over as he was carted off the court.
