But I was pretty much done when they let Ralph go.
Once Bean left, that was the nail in the coffin for me. |
Way before that.
They had just about shuttered Jed the Fish. Rodney was already in the basement looking for his stapler. Loveline was a mess until it finally died. Tami Heide was gone.
Just all depends on what era you liked KROQ and remember it best from. OG late 70's to 80s, or early 90's to early-mid 200s like me. Hell, still remember Richard Blade on the air, and PoorMan for a brief moment before he was canned.

Isn't it still on on KLOS here in So cal? |
It went off a couple of years ago. I wasn't aware of it coming back. Oddly enough it was on KROQ for awhile several years ago. |
I used to listen to Jonesy's Jukebox. I think you remember it on 103.1 before it went to a Mexican/Spanish station.
Bye. |
Yep. That's where I first heard him - as a radio DJ I mean. The "mustard or pants" segments where he'd get guest to weigh in on whether something is good or bad are a memory I still carry. When that gig ended he was on KROQ on Sunday nights for awhile. _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

I totally get it. I felt the same way. But when the new crew found their groove, I was back in.
Though to be brutally honest, I'll never have to hear Dave the King of Mexico again . . . and that I am good with . . . as mean as that may sound. _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know
