Happy about the win, but still a little concerned with the defense. The better teams/offenses will exploit us if we don't improve.

One things for sure - Raheem Morris is no Brandon Staley.

If it wasn't for our defensive front, our collective D would be really bad. Thank goodness our line (AD in particular) is constantly applying pressure.

Both Chicago and Indy were marching up the field at will and we lost the possession battle to both those teams.

While Staley seemingly always made the right calls, Morris has been very suspect in that regard.

Early Vegas line has the Rams favored by 1 1/2 over the Bucs.

Bucs will kill em, unless Donald and the defense can step it it up...

No Darrel Henderson no chance against Tampa.

Yeah the problem of making a SB or bound is getting stripped of you best assistants i.e. Staley and Fassel.

The Rams are work in progress. Most of the starters didn't play in preseason. They have a new offensive coordinator, a new defensive coordinator and a new special teams coordinator. I'm very happy being 2-0.

Rams coach Sean McVay says that RB Darrell Henderson has a rib cartilage injury but they have hope and optimism with him and will be checking in again Friday.

A blanket can't cover Cooper. He has stickum hands, size and monstrous YAC moves.

He reminds me of something Jerry Rice said. He doesn't wait for the ball to come to him, he goes and gets it. I didn't understand what that meant at first.

He doesn't catch the ball with his body, he catches it with his hands. He reaches for it.

Rams-Bucs would seem to be lining up to be a high scoring game.

Yeah. The over-under in Vegas is 55.

You're wasting a play if you run the ball against Tampa anyway. McVay will skew heavily to the pass this week. With the way Kupp is balling, I think you might see Todd Bowles give him a little extra attention. Could be Robert Woods' time to post a big stat line.

Sony Michel filled in nicely after Henderson got hurt. He had 10 carries for 46 yards.

That would be nice. Also, McVay is reportedly trying to get DeSean Jackson some more looks.

Yes, I think you will see Stafford really test this secondary with many intermediate throws and some deep shots. Matt Ryan didn't have the arm to really do that on Sunday, but their secondary is very attackable right now with their injuries. It already was the place to attack their defense, given how well they erase the run, but now it's exacerbated all the more.

The way to beat the Bucs is to pressure Brady. That's the chink in his armor. When Tom's pressured he gets happy feet. He's been countering that by getting rid of the ball. Brady ranks seventh in the NFL at 2.6 seconds per throw.

Easier said than done. Pretty tough to get to him when he is releasing the ball that quickly.

Jodeke either doesn't watch the games, or doesn't know how to interpret what's transpiring on the field. Brady does not have happy feet, just the opposite. He stays within the pocket either on a drop back or from the shotgun. He'll stay in that position 3 to 4 seconds, then move into the interior of the pocket (if a pocket was successfully formed) in order to buy himself an additional 2 seconds.

Not only is Brady the fastest processor of any QB in the NFL, those 2.6 seconds are attributable to the longer pass plays. Long pass plays take more time to develop (duh) as the QB is constrained by either the WR getting separation or having the route finish development. Arians pushes for those longer routes (part of his "risk it or no biscuit") philosophy, which is what got his ass fired in Pittsburgh. The coaching staff and ownership were unhappy with the damage Big Ben was sustaining on those long passing routes.

Pretty much LOL

Tom has been dictating when he goes deep and when he doesn't. That's how they turned the season around last yr.

Tom kills plays when he wants. His receiving corp is SICK - Godwin, Evans, Brown, Miller and of course GRONK.

This game will be awesome.

Bucs offense has been so weird this year.....very hot and cold. When it is clicking, it truly looks unstoppable.....it is as if they are playing against air. Then suddenly for several drives, one thing will go wrong, and it will go ice cold....a penalty, sack....just something that breaks the pace and puts them behind the chains.

The soft spot of the defense is the secondary. Carlton Davis (CB) and the safeties are above average.....but Dean and whoever is @ Nickel are vulnerable to give up big plays. I would not waste much effort trying to go heavy on the run....not many have had success in several years rushing against the Bucs defense.

I will take the Bucs....but it will be one of their toughest games on the schedule....of not the toughest. I think the line is 1 point in favor of the Bucs....which is basically a pickem per Vegas. Bucs have lost 6 of their last 7 against the Rams....including last season.

He has made some excellent hot reads this year......often it will be to Gronk, AB or the RB. Ronald Jones is atrocious at picking up the block on a blitz...and Fournette is not much better.

RoJo is making crazy errors this season, missing assignments left and right, and that doesn't take into account the fumble in Week 1. He is clearly a better runner than Fournette with the ball in his hands, and Fournette isn't a very good pass-catcher, but he can pick up the blitz and he'll just get what's blocked. He isn't very good, truthfully, but with as good as the Bucs offense is, they just need someone who won't screw things up. RoJo is playing himself out of time so far.

Tackling has been pretty bad... and it seems like the guys are just a bit off in getting to the QB. Could have had 6+ sacks last game if we didn't over pursue or let guys out of our grasp. That run D looking rough right now.

Special Teams has been ugly as well. What tf was Scott doing on that punt? First off, he was directly in the pathway of the snap just a second before they hiked it.... then, he BARELY shifted a full step out of the way and even then did not clear enough to ensure a clean snap. He should have been benched after that BS.

If Tampa takes the opening kickoff past the 35 this game, that will be 3 opening kickoffs in a row that the opposing team starts off with great field position.

Lots of cleaning up to do

.
