Yeah, even when he was in the Super Bowl, I remember thinking that if you rank the qbs in the league, his ranking would not be anything special. No way he is in the top 10, and even being 10th best wouldn’t be that great. |

It'll be interesting to see if Belichick attempts to confuse Goff with movement in the defensive backfield after 20 seconds lapse on the play clock. Goff was confused during the Super Bowl, having problems distinguishing both the coverage and role among the defensive backs. He and McVay have had plenty of time to work on that weakness, we'll see if Belichick tries that again, or if he has some other surprise defensive concept to spring on the Rams tonight.
The Rams should dispatch New England tonight as the Patriots lack talent. Belichick is a great coach but a poor de facto GM. |
