We'd be 2-0.

It all averages out in the end. If it wasn't for the Braves running blunders in G7 we may not be playing in this game at all. I'm good with where we are even if we lose.

I'm sure Gonsolin and May have bright futures, but right now they're not ready for prime time.

Yeah I was hopeful they got their postseason jitters out of the way last round but it’s clear they still probably have another season before they’re ready. If we see them again I hope they can step up.

Yup. Sucks that they are taking up 2 roster spots and they might be useless to us this series.

I'm not underestimating the Rays, they got here for a reason.

Just gave them 4 runs with an error (not called one because we still got an out) and an 0-2 pitch as bad as you will ever see. Just like 2017, we couldn't go up 2-0. We'll see if that costs us.

It not underestimating. Ive seen their level for what it is and they arent much. Flukey luck or Morton has to be at the top of his game for them to even push 6 games. If we win game 3, this series will wrap in 5. That said barring a catastrophe and we get pushed to a game 7 against Morton. That is the game I would be worried about again

I don’t understand the overly optimism, our bats looked very flat against their relievers outside of that 3 home runs. Dodgers weren’t able to sustain any big inning by stringing together few hits together.

We will see if its overly optimism or not. Its clear as day to me, how much better we are then them. Watch what happens games 3-5. Im confident.

Agree with fox panel. This decision is (bleep) frustrating. Lol yeah let’s “throw away” a game in the World Series great strategy

Dustin May and Tony Gonsolin have each made only 14 reg season starts in their career. That’s not even 1/2 of a 162 game season.

We can’t forget how inexperienced they are.

Considering the circumstances, I actually dont blame Dave at all. The fact he is looking at the series for what it is and not making panic and hasty decisions is a sign of a good manager no matter the result. Those Fox guys would have started or had Kershaw pitch Game 7 against the Braves. That tells me all I need to know about their thinking process

I don't care for the pitching by committee, the Brewers tried that strategy against us in the past. My guess is they are confident in their games 3-5 starters.

You “throw away” game so to speak when you up 3-0 in the series, not at the beginning of the series you dumb f#*k Roberts.

Yep....this series could turn on a game, so basically giving away a game just gives their hitters confidence.

Unless Morton pitches out of his ass and actually manages to beat Walker, most of you complaining now will be changing your tunes by the end of game 3

Beuhler
Urias
Kershaw

And a fresh Treinen, Baez, Jansen if needed in relief in at least 2 of those next 3.

Here’s a question: how would we have treated/approached this game if we had lost game 1?
