You can imagine how people are reacting to this in Houston. BOB is smarter than people think, but I'm struggling to make sense of this one.

You’re struggling because it’s beyond stupid!

He must want to kill himself after seeing what the Bills gave up for Diggs

It looks like Brady's decided to leave the Pats:

Hopefully the Rams. The Chargers make no sense, IMO.

All the rumored landing spots for Brady haven't panned out so far....leaving the Chargers as one of the teams left.

You mean Chargers make all the sense. Rams also overpaid for a crap QB and a 1 leg RB

Chargers just need a good decision maker at QB. They have better offensive weapons than the Rams and their Defense is better than the Rams if they stay healthy.

Chargers aren't a perfect fit as they play in the same division as the Chiefs....but for the short term they would make the best fit in my opinion. Chargers play in a new stadium and are the clear 2nd team behind the Rams. Somebody like TB12 will give them an instant shot of publicity.

I think he's a poor coach and even worse GM. Giving Cobb more than $18MM guaranteed on the same day that they received an underwhelming return for Hopkins--especially after seeing what the Vikings got for Diggs--has to sting.

People were saying the same thing last year. Remember all the stuff about the Clowney trade and a couple others? Then we got to the second round of the playoffs and had a 24-0 lead on the Chiefs before the wheels came off. This makes me hesitate. There were a lot of "good" coaches and GMs who didn't make the playoffs last year. It's not like the Texans had a stacked roster or were a "can't miss" team. We overachieved. So when I hear people talking about how BOB is an idiot, part of me says "Hang on a minute."

Don't get me wrong. I'm not defending this move. The logic eludes me. Yet I feel certain that there is some sort of logic behind it. BOB does not appear to be a blundering fool, although I may reassess him after the coming season. I just don't see where this leads.

I guess the Chargers are better than I thought. I'm hearing the Buccaneers are in the mix which, as a Bucs fan who has had 18 years of bad to mediocre seasons, is exciting.

Niners should have rolled the dice, unless the game tape shows something definite in regards to a physical decline. The NFL is usually a 2-3 year window, so I don't buy the Jimmy G. younger argument - unless they think he is going to be a top 5 QB eventually.

The Bucs seem like the current favorites, based on how the wind is blowing; they are -225 right now. The Chargers are +160, and then there's a large gap back to the next team.

Chargers have a good team, but I dont recall them being able to protect Rivers well last season. Brady doesnt play well when pressured to leave the pocket.

Rivers to the Colts. Hopefully, we draft a QB this year or next year since Rivers is very old.

I'm not a Rivers fan, but this strikes me as a good move. The Colts have a great roster except for QB. Luck screwed over the franchise. If the Colts don't cash in now, they will have lost a tremendous opportunity. There's no way that the Titans and my Texans should be in the playoffs while the Colts watch on TV.

There's no question that the Colts have an infinitely better offensive line than the Chargers did, and that Rivers has worked well with Frank Reich before. Now, is he simply washed up? That's possible, so we'll find out.

Chargers sign Bryan Bulaga. He's missed a lot of games in the past couple of years. In that way, he sounds like a very Chargers-y offensive lineman.

Hello, Tampa.

The Chargers made a serious run at Brady, but, barring a change of heart by the quarterback, the team believes it is out of the running for him.

The Rams don’t have cap space

Looks like Bridgewater will be the new starter in Carolina. Panthers told Cam he could seek a trade which is akin to saying take a hike.

Adam Schefter

@AdamSchefter

Tampa is the expected landing spot for Tom Brady barring anything unforeseen, sources tell me and
@JeffDarlington
.

There's no signing date or announcement officially set up, but Brady is expected to be a Buccaneer.

Bears bring in Foles, Jimmy Graham and Robert Quinn. While keeping Trevathan. Quinn and Mack should be scary and Trubisky can learn from Foles.

Saints lock up both QBs and added Malcolm Jenkins, who I like more than Eli Apple. Props to Michael Thomas for re-doing his deal and giving the team cap space.

No way Brady was going to sign with a team that gets boo'ed in their home stadium every game.

That doesn't happen in Tampa until at least the 4th home game.

$25 million for Rivers was a brutal overpay.

I wish you guys and him the best of luck, but you will see he needs things to be perfect on every play to be successful and any pass pressure and he morphs into a turnover machine.

At this point, I think Jacoby Brissett is a better QB actually, he can do more things than a washed up Rivers.
