Realistically the guys were emotionally drained; no shame. We will regroup and make a deep run either way.

GO LAKERS!!

I’m sure the players were emotional so we can’t take to much from this game.

Yeah I'm not going to argue against making moves at the deadline, but surely we can all have some empathy for the players tonight?

Now if we come out and perform poorly against Sacramento that's a different story

For sure, it’s not about this game.

It’s been the glaring weaknesses over that 12-8 stretch.

Tonight was one of those just weird games between layoff, emotional tribute, Portland desperately wanting to get into the top 8, etc.

Didn’t realize he was this good! The heat must regret trading him now. Can u imagine him and jimmy buckets? They would challenge the bucks In the East

Some of you guys need to really calm down. The memorial is what is important, not some silly basketball game. Yeah a win would have been nice but didn’t Kobe’s death make you realize that life is fleeting? Nothing is guaranteed. Live in the moment and be kind to one another l.

You think it’s easy for these guys to play basketball when a lot of them knew Kobe personally? Most People like us didn’t even know Kobe or met him yet we’re a wreck. How do you think the players are feeling?

Tough loss but show some empathy and give these guys a break

That’s understandable for this game, but that can’t continue
Now I don’t understand some of the turnovers by rondo and daniels

He had 5 or 6 plays where he seemed to have an open layup and passed it up. It was weird.

I wasnt a fan of closing with AD at 5 with whiteside in there, they needed Javale imo for this one to at least bother Whiteside and allow AD to roam a bit.

How do you know? What a dumb ass statement.. U can determine that from one game then if they win it all you will say I am sure glad I was wrong.. Dude just relax it's one game

As long rondo is with the lakers we aren’t winning. Sorry it’s not dumb just the true and I’m not the only who think so!

I think it's more like if we keep playing like this overall, then we ain't winning jack.

I doubt this team is crushing anyone. We aren’t really that good! The all star break can’t come soon enough!

I agree and it's unfair we had to basically have a memorial, and Portland gets to come in here a bit more mentally free and just ball- guaranteed W tomo

I would rather have had them win by 8 or better yet 24. But, oh well.

Yeah I don't doubt that, and I hope Pelinka comes through in the clutch (releasing his inner Mamba Mentality, if you will) and makes some moves that put us over the top

Would've been hard to concentrate on basketball tonight, but moving forward it's about championship aspirations
