We have been slumping in the 1st Quarters again for a few games. Recurrent issue. We had three games or so with 40+ pt 1st quarters and they were easy wins and then back to mediocrity. Against the Knicks, it'd be nice to see one of those. AD has to find his way back into the flow. NY plays rough (not tough) and they're generally dumb as rocks. Julius is one of their players, e.g. This is a team the Lakers should devour like praying mantises eating lowly cokk-a-roaches. Only thing is, they gotta show it. Don't give these cokkroaches confidence. We lost there last year by a point, it can happen if you let inferior teams hang on from the outset.

Lakers have been slow starters most of the season. We've had very few fast starts. Seems as though the team plays to the level of the competition. Teams below .500 have been struggles. I expect a struggle tonight. Glad the Pelicans vs Spurs game is at 6:30. I want to see what Zion is about.
