|
|
Quote: | The Utah Jazz have agreed to trade guard Dante Exum and two second-round picks to the Cleveland Cavaliers for guard Jordan Clarkson, league sources told ESPN.
The Jazz are hoping Clarkson can deliver a boost to their bench scoring. |
Imo this is a real good trade for the Jazz. Offense is their weakness. It won't put them over the top, but it will make the Western Conference seeding race a little more interesting.

It is good to see JC rebuild his value over the last year...and Exum probably needed some new scenery as well. |

What’s worse, being traded to Cleveland or being traded to Utah? |

yeah, but my guess this is 6 month stop for JC unless he kills it and they try to keep him. JC's lifestyle probably a better fit in Cleveland. Utah better for career, because he should be back in the playoffs again this year. |

Just think that Laker fans were hoping that either of them would be the future of our team..... |

Can't believe it took the Jazz this long to realize Dante Exum was never going to pan out. _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Do your job." - Kobe Bryant |

Realize some of it is injuries, but I still remember the year we got Julius, the entire board was full of "Sexum Exum", as the next Laker great. |

Injuries will do that to players. Some of these kids are done before they even get the chance. ESPN did a good article about the injury epidemic in the youth (for once): https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/27125793/these-kids-ticking-bombs-threat-youth-basketball
I think Utah is a good fit for JC, though he'll have his work cut out since they are defense oriented. |
