Whichever big Melo will be guarding has to take advantage of that in the post. He's a small 4. I assume Whiteside will be guarding AD so Javale needs to get Melo down low.

Don't underestimate the Blazers. They have probably the second-best backcourt in the league and are better than their record would suggest.

You are right about that.

This will be another stern test for the team. Portland has always been a hard nut to crack. The Lakers beat the Blazers twice last season but Portland had won the previous 15 series games.

CJ McCollum has been playing well, Dame is Dame, plus Melo; I think its going to be a battle. ...... GO LAKERS!!

They are really good team. Big test for us. But one thing is for sure. Lebron will be ready for this one knowing his friend is on the other side. You never want to lose against your friends. Its just like that. Him and AD will be in full mode I am sure.

Portland has no chance. If Golbert+ couldnt stop the Lakers' frountcourt,Whiteside, will get eaten up.

This is an excellent matchup for the Lakers. Too small. No stretch bigs.

Dame/CJ both gonna have to hit 30+ for them to have a chance.

But their backcourt might kill us. This is where a healthy Bradley could've really helped us.

This could be a shootout. Maybe the first team to reach 125 or 130 points will win.

I think people are overrating the Blazers in here. If the Lakers dont make a ton of mistakes I dont see how they dont win this one. They matchup with them extremely well. I could care less about the past, both teams are completely different.

CJ and Dame will both have to have one of there best games of the season to have a chance to pull out a win imo.

Actually let them spoon fed Melo, gonna be a good test for Kuz, pretty sure that’s his match up and Melo gonna want to ‘prove’ on a national televised game against the Lakers

Portland Trail Blazers: PPG: 113.5 / OPPG - 114.8

Los Angeles Lakers: PPG: 112.3 / OPPG - 103.3

If these stats hold true, then Lakers will win...!

The Trailgangsters give up more points than they score, while the Lakers score about 9 points more than they give up!
