Zion not looking good man... He looks bigger and bigger everytime I see him. I assume he’s not working out right now.

Nationally televised games run that long unless they are blow outs, and sometimes even if they are. Different timeout lengths.

Zion looks a O-lineman, WTF.

Memphis might have lucked out in getting the #2 pick and getting Ja. This dude is gets pudgier by the day.

Stop tweeting for reactions and trying to say I’m a dirty player. I play the game hard and the right way. Not a dirty player, never was and never will be. Next time just keep my name out of it 👍🏽

Not dirty. But hated the hurt you caused

I did hear that New Orleans has good food but yeah, he doesn’t look like he’s in basketball shape.

Regardless of what some say, the dude is fat and will be injury prone until he gets in good shape. Like Shaq, when he was slimmed down, he wasn’t hurt as much but as he put on weight, he had constant nagging injuries.

Combine that with the way he plays... I think it’s a disaster waiting to happen. He needs to change his body and his style of play.

His style of play is what makes him so special.

I didn't like how this team played this game, it should have been decided by the end of the 3rd. First time this season I saw a lackadaisical effort for damn near an entire game. Lucky to have won this one, onto the next.

Judging by his frame it be hard for him to drop weight like that. If he lose a ton of weight it will hurt his game also. He relies heavily on his athleticism. With his size thats not good for his knees long term. He needs to change his style of play if he wants a long career in the nba.

Classy post by BI. I expect the crowd to be hostile, but cheers to the Laker fans brave enough to show up.

SPOILER ALERT - this looks like a loss until Q3, when the Lakers storm back into the game, and we win a squeaker. LeBron and AD again prove too much talent to handle, KCP continues his elevated game in AB's absence, Caruso and Howard lock them down in the second half.

Let's hope for another win and no injuries.

GO LAKERS!!!

Had to step away.

Welp - was I close?

16-2 BABY!

So when I left it was 85-70, Lakers just had another unforced turnover, and I figured yep, this was the one that would bite them in the arse.

I came home to watch the replay. Basically as Caruso and Howard entered, the tide began to turn. Lakers closed out third down 10 at 89-79. Then the fourth quarter began.

Finally the Laker D showed up. In a big way. Fourth quarter they held the Pelicans to 6 points for about 7 minutes and 20 seconds, while simultaneously taking a 100-95 lead. After that, the game became more competitive, and the refs did their part to keep the Pels in the game with some extremely questionable calls, but the Laker vets won it out...while, once again, the former Laker kids wilted down the stretch of a big game.

I called this game a loss when I left and am more than happy to eat crow for that, and really enjoyed watching the D step up in the fourth. The team still needs to improve with consistency, but will most definitely take the win, was a great Thanksgiving present.

p.s. Kudos to Kuz for hitting some big 3's in the 4th, and AD for the key D in the end!

I'm still pissed at that (bleep) call on KCP that they refused to overturn. Sorry ass refs.
