Why is Doncic such a good rebounder? This boy bad. I remember his story since he was like 16 and still buried on the bench. I was like how do people know he's going to be good when he's in Europe, and not even playing? So dang, scouts do know their thing.
I remember Rubio had similar hype, but he never lived up to them.

Such a dumb decision to move this thread here. Now it will never be used. This thread had 9 pages in 2 days in the lounge.
These kinds of threads are always on this board which is why I’d started one over here during the pre-season. In my time here (several years now) the Lakers Lounge has always been reserved for direct Lakers discussion, not discussion about the league as a whole.

Because Americans overvalue the NCAA in comparison to the Euroleague (i.e. the far superior competition)? I have no other logical explanation for this. It was clear for at least the year prior to the draft that he was the best player.
