Was in the car listening to game on Sirius Satellite’s NBA channel.
They were using the Bull’s announcers over John Ireland and Mychal Thompson.

Like most announcers who aren’t Lakers I must say they were pretty biased. Boasting and celebrating the entire time the Bulls would go up 18 or whatever. They were describing Coby White like he was the next Derrick Rose.

Pretty damn funny how their tone went really low once we made our surge and took over lol

Lol lol, Coby White did look good in the first half but then Lakers started playing ball

Makes me wonder if he would of went off like that if Avery was out there.
I’m fully aware he was nice at North Carolina but really didn’t get to see too much of his play in the league.

Gonna rewatch the game on my dvr now

We have the strongest road following even when we suck. So now that we're good again, it just doubles. My buddy was at the game tonight he texted me that the crowd was 60/40. I expect it to be that way at almost every road game this year.

Just how bad did it get?

The Lakers started the fourth down 13 and appearing lifeless, only to go on a 9-0 run that turned into a 24-4 run within six minutes. Even more embarrassing was the fact that Lakers fans seemed to take over the UC.

I went to a Lakers-Bulls game at United Center about 10 years ago (the '09 championship season) and I remember the crowd outside had to be at least 60% Lakers fans, if not more. It was a decade ago, but I imagine things haven't changed that much. Lot of Laker fans in Chicago.

On replay:

First half:

Kuz sloppy.
In general Lakers careless with the ball
Bulls doing good job attacking laker bigs and getting them in foul trouble.
LeBron keeping team in game.
AD taking too many tough fade away or similar shots versus attacking.
Bulls hitting lots of big 3s.

Lakers cane out ok but started a sequence of slop beginning at end of first quarter.

Who else thought it was hopeless when it was 85-67 with 4:21 left in the 3rd and McGee lets the shot clock go to zero? To me, that moment was the icing on the cake for the night. Unbelievably, that moment did not kill them. Instead, the comeback started after that shot clock turnover.

Lakers now up in the fourth (replay of game) but yes that was a critical moment - literally Lakers kinda hit rock bottom there (there was even one possession where 5 Lakers were behind the 3 point line on offense). Then they slowly crawled back in.

It started a couple of years ago even though the team sucked. Our fans are far and away the best in the league, no team travels like the Lakers do.

How much does Zach Lavine make? Man, it would be great if we could package KCP for someone like Lavine, another ball handler, creator, scorer.

Second half:

A few brainless plays including 24 second violation that was basically rock bottom.
LeBron then starts pushing them back in.
AD gets called for a bogus offensive foul so had to sit on bench.
Lakers close 3rd quarter well and get to within 10 but bulls get off a 3 just as quarter comes to a close.
Fourth - we are an odd lineup of kuz Howard AC cook and Daniels...bulls counter with their own version of a complete bench mob...advantage kuz and Dwight. I’m shocked bulls coach did this as Dwight was really eating them up on the inside (basically he chewed up scrubs at this point) and kuz got in a rythym

By the time bulls start putting starters back in its too late, momentum shifted, then come back LBJ and AD...game over

In sum: nice come back win with a large heap of help from the bench. With that said this game does show they have quite a bit of work to be the team they want to be...being down by 19, ouch...they’re not coming back from that vs a better team. But, it’s a win, and will definitely take it.

Edit: BTW love the pro laker crowd there, they really gave some real support for Dwight who was eating it up. Was cool to see.

Bulls coach Boylen refuses to play Denzel Valentine & Daniel Gafford. They aren’t being used at all despite the recent losses. DV was injured but played okay in pre-season. Gafford looked good in SL but gets no love from Boylen.

IMO, at this rate, Boylen won't make it through the season.
