If they force the ball to the middle into AD like they did with the Clips they lose. If LBJ keeps bring the ball up and initiating the offense they loose. It looks like it will be the same lineup, let's see if they learned something from the previous game. That will show us who Vogel really is. If he's a stubborn coach that thinks he's coaching the Pacers and he's stuck in that time period he will lose quite a few games.
Let's hope we win but I'm going to be watching carefully for adjustments.

I think this will be an easy win. We're at home.

I disagree. If we win it will be close and hard fought. Gobert will shut down the paint and Utah in general has a tough defense like LAC. Mitchell will also be a tough cover for this Laker team, as Williams was.

Eh. Conley still hasn't figured out how to fit in with Quinn Snyder's system. And they have nobody to guard LBJ or Brow at the 4.
I think Green can be effective defensively on D. Mitchell as well.

I'd like to think that, but it doesn't seem likely. Utah is very talented and it's unlikely that Mike Conley is going to go 1/16 like he did against OKC.

Mitchell/Conley/Ingles/Gobert/Bogdanovic is more talented and more balanced overall than LeBron/AD/Green and whoever, plus they have a far better coach.

We really have to lean on AD and hope Green has another big game. We also need LeBron to play more like a superstar than an allstar reserve.

No easy wins against a tough defense.

Unless you think for some reason that the Jazz won’t show up.

Lakers vs. Jazz Preview: LeBron James, Anthony Davis look to bounce back against Donovan Mitchell, Jazz

Quote:
LeBron James, Anthony Davis and the Lakers will surely want to avoid digging an early 0-2 hole, but face a tough Jazz team featuring Donovan Mitchell, Mike Conley and Rudy Gobert.

We shouldn’t feel a sigh of relief because teams who are ailing from injuries are usually the 1’s who come in and beat us.

New Tacos Policy:

What could be better than tacos or the Lakers? How about @JackBox tacos AND the @Lakers? Two free tacos if the Lakers win at home and hold the opponent under 111 points.

Jack In The Box/Lakers giving themselves new latitude on the Tacos this season... imma be at the game, but I will still take a pass on the tacos...

He can’t be any worse then KCP and his 0 point effort in the Season opener.

Pat Bev only got 2 points... but he created TO and was a defensive beast, KCP got undressed by Kawhi
