Spurs lost to the lowly Clippers. They have a very good coach but we have a good coach too and we also have the superstars. Lakers winning 4 in a row is doing well?

Yeah, we are doing great, we only lostt precisely against an extramotivated Clippers team. But today's match is a very tough one, I didn't expect the Spurs to start this good. However, I think it will be a close match, although we will lose unless LeBron or AD do something similar to LeBron's performance in Dallas. But if we win, it will be a huge one.

In this 18 game stretch that OP referred to a week ago the hardest games were @Dallas and @SAS. We won one of them so far. If we come out with a win today, we should be cruising the rest of November. The only difficult games I see in Nov after today is @Suns and @SAS again in the end of the month.

Not sure why everyone is considering the next few games to be a cakewalk. Miami are playing fantastically so far, and the Raptors may have lost KL but they're still a well-coached and tough team. We look great for sure, but we're going to drop games here and there.

You're right. At the time I made the comment, I didn't notice the Heat and Raps records. However, both of those games will be at home and I think we match up well with them. Also, the Raptors wins so far have been against mediocre teams while we already beat Jazz, Mavs, Spurs.

we can easily go to 15-5 if we just take care of the relatively easy games.
But right now sky seems to be the limit, iwe cn reach 17-3 if we have no major injuries.

Funny how things work out.

The Suns and Heat look like tough games, while GSW should be a cake walk over a G League team.

I'd be very happy with a 15-5 start

I predict all the teams involved will have a .500 combined record over those 18 games.

Looking at it right now, I’d say 18-0. There isn’t one team on that list who’s close to the Lakers in talent. Of course teams lose games they shouldn’t, so maybe 16-2, 15-3.

I think 15-3, but maybe 14-4 b/c of load managing coming up (which hasn't happened yet).

Teams always seem to drop the unexpected game here or there

For sure. I think it really helps we play a more old school game because even when we have slumps (like we have). When we go to our bread and butter, it is tough to stop us. So even though you're 100% right that we'll obviously drop games we shouldnt, I love the way our team is built because I think we would have dropped the Chicago game and probably Dallas if we weren't built the way we were. Play hard D, drive in, kick out. Feed AD/Dwight.

The Heat will be playing their second of back-to-back road games and their third road game in four nights against us (coming off of tough matchups in Denver and Phoenix).

We, on the other hand, are riding a six game winning streak and will have had two full days of rest heading into that game at home (where we are unbeaten).

Prediction: trap game that we will lose.

If by old school you means defense then yea i love it too. Usually maintains effectiveness in the playoffs too.
