It's a paperwork thing. By adding him to the camp roster, the Lakers can give him a $50,000 bonus before he goes down to our G league team |

Why do we want to do that tho? Was DStock more expensive or something? I'm not understanding this transaction. |

Wow. The Lakers really want the South Bay Lakers to be competitive. Good move. _________________ “When the debate is lost, slander becomes the tool of the loser.”

Stockton probably has a good offer internationally. _________________ “When the debate is lost, slander becomes the tool of the loser.”

Stockton does not have enough height or hops to dunk. Got his layup chase down block when he should have dunked (if he could). Good shooter, good PG just not enough size and athleticism to play in the NBA. Let him go to the G League and play there. _________________ Darvin Ham is an idiot! |

His dad wasn’t dunking on anyone but knew how to use his body and angles to finish at a high clip. Textbook really. I definitely appreciated that about his game and it’s something players can learn. I think Jr. doesn’t quite have the PG skills he needs rather than an athleticism issue. |

Both Stockton and Hearn are slated to be on our G league team. Because Stockton has been in camp, the Lakers can give him a $50k bonus.
Cutting Stockton a few days before camp and letting Hearn take his place is a simply a mechanism to give him a $50k bonus as well.
It's nothing more than a goodwill move to give Hearn a little extra money. It doesn't really affect Stockton at all. |
