Rajon Rondo (calf) remains out for tonight’s game against Toronto. Meanwhile, the Raptors will be without both Kyle Lowry (thumb) and Serge Ibaka (ankle).

Rajon Rondo, meanwhile, did some 5-on-5 fullcourt and will be listed as questionable for tomorrow night’s game in Phoenix. Anthony Davis practiced today and is probable for the Suns with a sore right shoulder.

Rajon Rondo said he and the medical staff have wanted to be careful not to have the calf strain lead to anything worse. It started with Achilles soreness, then moved to his calf, and he alluded to Kevin Durant’s calf/Achilles situation last year in terms of being cautious.

Anthony Davis said, yes, he has some soreness in the R shoulder, which is obvious from watching as he’s had to shake it out here and there. “But I’m still able to go through the game fine ... I can do everything. I don’t think about it when I’m playing.”

Davis said the shoulder has gotten “much better” since the initial soreness on the missed dunk in Week 1. It gets tweaked here and there (like on a blocked shot last night) but is still much better than it felt initially.

Rondo and AD were tight in New Orleans, which could translate to on-court chemistry.
