Quote:
The versatile 6-foot-7 Livingston, who turned 34 on Wednesday, came back from a devastating knee injury early in his career to become one of the league's savviest players and a strong locker room presence.
Livingston averaged 15 minutes per game over the past two seasons for the Warriors, with whom he spent five seasons and won titles in 2015, 2017 and 2018.
"Shaun was a huge part of three NBA championship teams with the Warriors, but his overall journey is what is most remarkable," Warriors CEO Joe Lacob said in a statement. "He overcame incredible odds following a devastating injury, wore nine different NBA uniforms during his comeback, had a stint in the D-League and, fittingly, ended up being a major contributor on one of the best teams in NBA history."

Would you say Livingston's career was a disappointment/bust? The guy was drafted #4 overall and expected to be a star but merely ended up as a solid contributor-- but being a key role player on a championship team is nothing to scoff at.
Also, Warriors just keep losing key parts of their dynastic team. _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:

I would consider Shaun a winner and a fighter to overcome his devastating injury. _________________ "You cannot live a perfect day without doing something for someone who will never be able to repay you"

I would never pencil in any #4 pick as a for-sure star.
He played 15 years, 833 games, won three rings, and made $60 million.

He almost had his leg amputated after that devastating injury, so I'm pretty sure he considers everything he accomplished after that gravy.
