Obviously, not WANTING him to fail, and hoping/ praying/ lighting candles/ counting off a rosary/ sacrificing a live chicken and pleading to Heaven that this works.

What a fiasco. Dwight F'n Howard is a Laker!
Glad I have always rooted for the name on the front of the jersey instead of the one on the back. Because this FO is making it really tough to be on board with their decisions.
Some people simply do not learn. Howard has always been an egotistical pin headed distraction and he will be again. Just hope it does not cost too many games when things implode. Or Davis re-signing next season. |

Silver linings:
We did need a backup center.
His free throw shooting is right on par with our young, promising PG from last year.
We didn't put any billboards up this time.
We didn't sign Carmelo. |

| Counting me with few that are happy with the signing. Don’t like the guy, but with what’s available, he is the best option. It’s all about to finally root for winning team. Also, keep AD happy to make sure he doesn’t play too much at the 5 spot. |

As much as I hate him being a Laker, I will hope it works out even on a limited basis.
question for some of you stating there is no downside of simply releasing him mid-season. What center are they signing in Dec or Feb to replace him?
Selection will be even worse and building chemistry and learning systems becomes an issue. |
