But if you're movie fan of a certain age you definitely know hisd face:
Actor in 'Serpico' and 'The Sting,' Dies at 85

The New Yorker also stood out in 'Midnight Run,' 'The Untouchables,' 'Car Wash' and 'The Fish That Saved Pittsburgh.'

It was one of those immediately familiar faces you saw surface in so many films back in the day.

I didn't recognize the name but as soon as I saw a pic I immediately connected him as Joe Erie from The Sting. In Midnight Run, I think he was the guy who was always leaving the office to buy donuts. I didn't realize he also played the Capone's accountant in The Untouchables.
