I miss the 40% free throw shooting and the terrible overhype.

Can't shoot, can't stay healthy, can't finish at the rim, can't hit free throws.

Very happy I don't have to stan for this dude. Will miss BI though.

I missed him playing in the actual non-summer league games.

Will miss his d and passing. The FT shooting was inexcusable though.

He is an enigma. I keep thinking about his 12-27 game against the Suns in his road debut after the terrible home debut against Patrick Beverly and the Clippers. In that Suns game, he did 29, 11 boards, 9 dimes. We were all ecstatic that in his 2nd pro game, he was a dime shy of a triple double. Not a 10 pt type triple double, but a 30 pt type triple double. I mentioned this before... that someone must have gotten into his ear that night and told him he has to pass more and shoot less. Someone must have said something and completely altered history. Because he never shot near that amount again. I checked his game log, and after 27 shots the closest he came was a few 16 shot games, then last year, the closest was a few shot 17 shots. He never broke 20 shots again after that Phoenix game, the second game of his NBA career. That is just weird to me.

The crazy dad, the reality show, the rapping... It would be easy to say this guy doesn't really love basketball, but when he was on the court, you can see his defensive efforts, and he fills up the stat sheets easily with a little this, a little that. I'm curious to see his development with the Pelicans.

If he is given the keys to run the team in NO, with his downhill style, lookout. He just needs to stay healthy, without that he will never see his full potential. Will be interesting to see how he and Jrue will mesh or share roles, or if Jrue will be dealt by Feb.

Oh yeah, I forgot, hope he doesn't break all of Magic's records and seeing his jersey up on the rafters.

Give me a break.

Sure, he will be a good player but some people made him out to be the Savior Jesus Christ. Hardly...

Hyped at UCLA, couldn't deliver in a big game.
Hyped as a Laker, couldn't deliver under the enormous pressure from Lakers fans.

I have no problem rooting against Ball or Ingram next season especially with so many saying we got fleeced on the trade. I was listening to Jared Greenberg this morning and he was predicting we'd be battling with the Pels for the 8th playoff seed.

And some made him to be a G league player. He is somewhere in between, and will only get better as he improves his shot.

Do not see the correlation between being mad that a guy on the radio said we got fleeced and rooting against Ball? You need Ball to play bad to teach Jared Greenberg a lesson? If that is the case, then you likely feel we might have got fleeced.

Would be the perfect PG on this team.
