This is about the best list I've seen. Just switch Warriors with Nuggets. The new thing is to showcase the Clippers as the best team in the West. They are not. I have them in the 6th or 7th spot. Injuries and a lack of chemistry will hurt the Clippers. |
I'm not big fan of Nuggets and i kinda think that Jokic is one-season wonder, i would never want that guy on my team, red flags all around.
On the other hand, Warriors have nicely recovered with Dlo and when Klay gets back, they are going to be our main rival in the West. |

(bleep) the west is tough. This is gonna probably be terrible, but:
1. Nuggets
2. Jazz
3. Clippers
4. Rockets
5. Lakers
6. Warriors
7. Blazers
8. Spurs
Not married to this. My reasoning is that I think the Warriors are way too shallow after Curry, Green, and Russell; the Blazers are gonna miss Nurkic; and the Lakers will probably rest LeBron and AD a fair amount, causing them to rely inordinately on Rondo and Boogie. The Spurs are just not that talented and might fall out entirely if the Spurs look to rebuild.
I think the top 3 on my list have good regular season depth and don't really need to worry about resting their stars (minus Kawhi for the Clips), and the Rockets have Harden who seems good for 50+ wins by himself. |

I have read somewhere that we are old team. We are 27.8 in average . That is perfect for the team wanting to win chip. NBA is league of veteran players and young guys never won anything. It will always be like that. |

This is really hard, there's not much separating the first 7 teams.
1. Nuggets
2. Clippers
3. Lakers
4. Blazers
5. Utah
6. Warriors
7. Rockets
8. Kings
This may be the year when the SA Spuds finally miss the playoffs! The Kings got stronger...
Fox - Hield - Barnes - Bagley - Dedmon
and the Pels might upset them too.
Ball/Jackson - Jrue/Reddick/Hart - Ingram/Kenrich - Zion/Favors - Okafor/Hayes
Also, I really don't know what to make of Dallas' roster because it looks very haphazard. Only thing I know is they don't deserve Halleluka! |

I'm very pessimistic about our seeding due to load management.
1. Warriors (I'm not counting them out at all)
2. Nuggets
3. Clippers
4. Blazers
5. Rockets
6. Lakers
7. Jazz
8. Spurs _________________

I believe it will be a fight between the Jazz and Nuggets for the top spot. They are going to go all in because they both need home court. We will come out of the West and win a championship. Its nice that the top teams in the East are stacked as well so nobody gets to the championship without battle wounds. |

I'm just flabbergasted to see what so many fans are able to discount. I just see red flag warnings everywhere in this roster:
- our 900 year old point guards (breaking down physically from mileage), with LJ coming off the most serious injury of his career
- our lumbering center with multiple leg injuries, coming off the most serious three injuries of his career
- our oft-dinged-up athletic power forward coming off a serious injury (shoulder), one especially troubling given his history of missing time every season
Among the four key individual talents on this squad, there's no one coming into this year from a healthy end of last season. To me, the odds are just stacked against much chance for playoff success. Can enough of these guys be healthy enough, long enough and enough at the same time, to play well together when the season ends so as to jell for a playoff run ?
I can't see how it's likely to work. But I look forward to the surprise of it all, if the Lakers win a playoff series. |

In some these cases with players missing time due to "injuries" my guess is they shut it down early as their presence on the court wouldn't have mattered in regards to the post season. We all saw what happens when players try to push for title when they're battling through injuries. No point in risking that when you've nothing to play for. _________________ Not a legend |

You have 1 LA team making the playoffs? |
Yep. There's only 1 LA team in the league no?
Btw, I'm not high on Mike Conley because I do not trust his ability to stay healthy. |
Bump.
Now, everyone else go back and see your ridiculous predictions
Note: still early, so things can change obviously. But it's fun for now. |

Yep.
Surprises:
Playing poorer than expected:
Portland, Utah, GS (did not see this many injuries coming)
Playing better than expected:
Houston, Dallas, Lakers (thought it would take some time to gel) |
