Smdh. He’s important to Lakers success.

This stretch of games allows him some rest. Might be good anyways to get Daniels and Cook some minutes as we will need them to let our top 8 rest.

No doubt, better now than in December.

Just hope it’s really only a couple of weeks max.

A couple of weeks to be re-evaluated. Not return to play. Curious where the fracture is located.

will Caruso get his minutes or KCP? Maybe KCP can redeem himself with our soft schedule for the next 2 weeks.

Lineup for today assuming AD, Bradley, KCP, Daniels are all out with injuries

McGee-Dwight
Kuzma-Dudley
LeBron
Danny-Cook
Caruso-Rondo

We’re thin today. Possible to call up Zach Norvell?

Young, SGA, Morant and D. Murray

I feel most comfortable with Caruso guarding these guys in AB’s absence.

I know that the fibula is a lower leg bone, I guess that the head is near the knee. Now we need one of our real medical posters to explain.

His defense totally fell off last time he had an injury. Hope this isn’t a precursor to that.

I’m a doctor. I’m an expert when it comes to the fibula head bone! 😝

Most hairline fractures usually take 6 to 8 weeks.

The weird thing is according to the article I read on the LA Times, the injury happened and then he missed a game. Did the Lakers not pick it up right away?

He is a huge part of the Lakers defense. I do not know of any one else who can do what he does, in terms of fighting through screens and being as physical as he is.

For defense, it makes sense to start Caruso.

Caruso-Green then Rondo comes in, and Caruso can move to the 2. Then Cook comes in, and Rondo can move to the 2 defensively a bit. After that you finish with the best 2 guards of that night. Something like that.

Being around the fibular head is a bit concerning due to the peroneal nerve location. Hopefully he is not having any numbness/tingling, or weakness due to this precarious location.

If I'm Vogel, now is the time to see what THT has. Those long arms should make him a great defender which is what we lack when AB is out. Cook, Daniels, KCP dont defend all that well and their offensive games are sporadic at best.
