One benefit of Kawahi going to the Clippers is that the teams will matter as much as their stars. We've almost completed our roster, though I'm hopeful we get Iggy at some point. Which player do you expect or, rather, do we need to be the X factor on the team. I think it's between Boogie and Kuzma. If one of those two outperforms, I think we have a pretty good shot, but there are technically a lot of guys with this potential. Who will be our most important ancillary piece? My order:

1. Boogie
2. Kuzma
3. Danny Green
4. Caruso
5. Javale

What do you think?

Every mama knows if Boogie loses weight a bit and healthy, no center, I mean no center can cope with him.

If Boogie gets back to his all star self. The league better watch out AD/DC would be a load for team to stop by themselves. Add LBJ and deadeye shooter like Green and Cook

Yeah, one thing I kind of dig about this team is that they are unpredictable and dangerous as hell. I don't think we stack up to the Clippers in terms of consistency, but we are the wildest wild card in the league, bar none. On any given night, we have a player that can kill you. We might not be a defensive juggernaut, but we will hang points on teams that are, which would be demoralizing as hell for clubs like the Clippers.

Other... Lebron's commitment to rest on *the bench* instead of resting on defense.

1.Boogie
2.Kuzma
3.Caruso
4.Green

If Boogie can be like 2 years ago thats game over.

If Kuzma improve his shooting we can outscore any team.

If Caruso can play d and hit 3pts that would solve our PG position which is the only weaknesses of this roster.

I see most people are voting for Kuz, but heading into his third year, I think you can expect about the same or perhaps a little higher output from him.

But the obvious answer is Boogie, this guy was averaging just under 26ppg and 13rpg BEFORE his injury - if he returns to that output, EVERYONE here will be saying "Kawhi Who?"

And THAT is what makes him the X-Factor..

Clips have great defenders except at center. Boogie needs to dominate to have a chance

one of the many clips shown on Boogie from last year is him going by Zubac, who is now a Clipper! lol

Who ever plays the most at PG. if we can have a PG shoot well, play defense, and a solid AST/TO ratio could be the X factor. We already know Green will shoot well and play D he is what he is. I’m curious to see Cook and Caruso if they can improve to starting caliber PG and if Rondo can an offense with actual talent around him like he did in Boston

I voted Caruso because of how badly we need competent bodies at that position, and he's the biggest unknown. Does he finally shine under the spotlight or become another Kike Hernandez?

Caruso can make this a championship team just like he did the summer league team if he continues on the trajectory he was showing at the end of last season.

Vogel is the XFactor

Vogel’s sets/coaching of the bench/2nd unit. Kuz, Cook, McGee, THT, Caruso.

Can he possibly keep Rondo, Green, Bron, Boogie, and AD healthy?

Can he work in tandem with Kidd sans drama?

Can he call substitutions on time?

Can he relinquish the proper amount of control with the vets - how well is his read of the strong personalities?

Can he establish the right mindset in the playoffs?

Is is filmstudy and personnel understanding prepared for the season?

Can he establish the ethic, and have everyone buy into the team identity from the start of camp.

Kuzma. We're gonna need him to be able to get buckets like Lou Will and contribute on the defensive end. It's a tall task, but we want to be a title team.

Kuzma by far. It's up to him to show he can be more than just a spark plug scorer when he's hot. Can he be part of a big 3, or is his future a scoring 6th man?

It's between Boogie and Kuz. Either one is potentially a third All-Star caliber player. Kuz if he can improve his defense and regain his 3 ball to match the rest of his offensive game. Boogie if he can get healthy and back to where he was at on that Pels team with AD. If they both accomplish these goals, we are going to be absolutely scary for any team in the league in a seven game series.

If Kuz is doing 17-19 points a night the Lakers will be REALLY good.

The key will be can the Lakers get 70 pts out of Bron, AD and Kuz consistently. If the answer is yes, then expect the Lakers to be top 3 seed out and in the WCF at the very least with a good shot at the Championship

Green, Rondo, KCP, Boogie, Cook and McGee are going to be good for anywhere from 28-40 pts on any given nights

That plus the scoring form our main guys should make us one of the higher scoring teams in the league. With good health I really like our chances

Boogie could come back strong, which would give us the 3 headed monster we were expecting before KL screwed us.

Although the team will be need heavy contributions from guys like Kuz, I feel like the X-Factor really is LeBron.

Can LeBron get back to pre-Laker LeBron levels of play, particularly in his last year in Cleveland? He’s had some good “rest” now, away from those long consecutive deep playoff runs. This team will go as far as LeBron goes. If we don’t make the playoffs, it will have something to do with LeBron. If we win the championship next year, it will have to do LeBron as well

All.
We need Green and McGee to meet our expectation, Caruso and Kuzma to be able to take a larger role and Cousins continue to recover from his injury.

Definitely Boogie. If he plays up to his standards and puts up 19/11/4 then this team is a favourite.

Biggest X factor still think it’s Boogie.

But biggest surprise: Kuzma actually shows some things defending on wing.
