Since they lost Javale, he's gonna have to handle all the locker room glue guy/hype man duties now lol. _________________ "Chick lived and breathed Lakers basketball…but he was also fair and objective and called every game the way it was played."

Yeah glad he’s back, was a great guy to have around the locker room last year. Hopefully he can still play a bit too, shot a nice clip from deep last year _________________ #18 next...
People dont understand how important Dudley was for our team. He needs to be a player not a coach. Im happy he got the spot. WELL deserved. _________________ I love my Lakies
He's our unofficial Chief Recruiting Officer. Welcome back, Dudz! _________________ On Lakersground, a concern troll is someone who is a fan of another team, but pretends to be a Lakers fan with "concerns".

Completely agree.
People don't realize, he played very well last season in limited minutes with long spurts between action.
I heard him on the Bill Simmons (and I heckle Simmons, but this was a great interview) and he was just fantastic. I really think he brings a lot more than a lot of people might realize...you don't need guys deep on the bench (bleep) and moaning, you need team players who come in and ball when called upon.
Like this move a lot. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny

Its everything in between. He's the one talking to the young guys, he's the one bringing the team together. Its rub off when they see a solid vet sacrifice it all for the team. He bleeds for his teammates and team. He's the one who called Wes? Was it? I forget. But he's also RECRUITING for us. _________________ I love my Lakies
we don't need a cheerleader and babysitter for grown men.
how emotionally weak are the players that they need Dudley to feel better or stick together?
It's not like there are too many player that are happy to be the 15th player. Dudley is fine with it, he seems like a very cool guy with both teammates and fans and he was a Lakers fan from SC. Very happy to have him back.

If you can get over the annoyingness of Bill Simmons here, here's a good interview from Jared Dudley.
Dudley gives good insight into the Lakers camaraderie in the bubble. Offers up some LeBron, Dwight and Rondo stories. It's a good sense of Dudley's personality and why he's a good fit in a group of guys like the Lakers.
From October 14th, a couple of days after Lakers win the Championship:
