Like watching NVE if NVE was a SG.

Lots off the dribble, lots rejected screens, lots of letting it fly.

I guess I can see the comparison for Mavs NVE once he had began losing the quickness and was no longer considered a “pg” so to speak and more of a super sub. I can see what you’re saying in regards to the shake because Redd never had that,.. but he was more than capable of creating space to get a shot off with the ball in his hands. Norvell seems to have some understanding of pick and roll creation I don’t think Redd ever did. Either way he looked like he may be a diamond in the rough like Trier was for New York last year who if I recall you were also high on pre draft?

Yes I liked Trier, but legit had no idea where to place him. His offensive skill set was so evident, but his defense was baaaaad, almost unplayable.

But honestly, an undersized SG in a late NVE/Mobley mode goes a long way for an undrafted guy. It was always just shot selection and turnovers off the dribble.

Afflalo used to be a top level defender. Don’t see that for Zach

I don't wanna say he'll have the same career as Afflalo but physical attributes and strengths/weaknesses are similar. That's what I think

Profound. I get it. You have nothing to say since you are going to let Norvell's play on the court speak for itself.

Even in the summer league u can see he has a very good chance of making the big club once polish. Guess our youth is not bare, THT, Norvell and Cacok seems like pieces that can co tribute in the future. Not sold at the Greek freak’s brother yet, too slow in his movements, looks like center is his best position with his shot blocking potential.

Hope he makes the team. Looking like he can ball. A possible diamond in the ruff

He's on a 2 way deal so we retain some of his rights. Worth monitoring and IMO we will be trading some of our guards down the road so it may be nice to have him as a replacement if necessary.

Knocking down threes on volume...

Impressive again.

Looking back at the mock drafts, a few had him in the mid second round. Some hedged saying he could potentially be a late first round pick. He's definitely playing like that range. Kind of like finding an extra draft pick...which we could really use.

Wow didn't know that. Thanks DB!

Just wish he had longer wingspan to be truly valuable and less redundant with our roster of 600 sg's and NOT a single backup sf to LBJ.

He looks like he deserves playing time this year. He might be the 4th most talented offensive player on the roster. His game looks more polished than KCP and our other SGs already.

Given the need for a perimeter scorer, I wouldn't mind seeing him get minutes over Daniels, Rondo, Dudley.

Really glad Lakers have Norvell and Kostas signed up. Gonna be nice to bring Zach up during the season.

Kacoc is likely going to get offered a 2 way deal from some team. Bummed to see him go.

Great signing. Looks great this preseason.

THT never played.
I think he gets waived along with Dudley and Allen, and we keep Novell, Cacok and Kostas.

When you have in your hands a physical freak that can block at will, you keep him and teach him to play basketball.

I hope they find a way to keep Dudley.
