The Sheriff is NEAR...!

I'm trying to keep positive on this and I HATE that the media keeps saying Lakers have the best package, it's like a reverse jinx.

AND, if the Lakers can swing the trade before Draft night, it helps NO get the guy they want @ #4!

BUT, it HUGHLY helps the Lakers in their quest to sign a max FA., here's why:

(1) With Durant's injury, I don't see him opting out of a $31.5mil dollar payday, when he could miss the bulk of the year rehabbing, also, when the Warriors lose in the finals, he will feel he let the team down and want some redemption, he would get a ton of crap, if he opts out and signs else where. He can rehab in 2019-2020 help the Warriors try to get back to the finals and then get his super max deal!

(2) The Knicks or Nets would be idiots for signing a guy (Durant) for $38mil (starting salary) when he is going to be out most of, if not all of his first season.

(3) The rumor of Kyrie teaming up with Durant in NY or NJ is kinda dead, even with Kyrie (but without Durant) neither of those teams will go anywhere in the playoffs. Which may in turn make Kyrie consider other options, like the team that already has LeBron & LeBrow!

(4) Depending on how bad Kawhi wants to be in LA, he would be an idiot to sign with the Clippers, if the Lakers get LeBrow!

(5) Having LeBron & LeBrow on the same team, may make it easier to round out the roster with seasoned-vets as opposed to G-leaguers!

So call it a pipe dream, but the path is clear and the logic sound - getting the LeBrow trade done can get the Lakers back on track...BIG TIME..

PG: TBD
SG: Kawhi
SF: LeBron
PF: Davis
C: McGee
