I've always been a pretty die-hard Lakers fan. Between 1992 and 2015, I probably saw or listened to almost every game. Since 2015, I've still watched a good 75% of games and for the ones I miss, at least watch a 10 min game recap, but since they pulled BI out and Zo was declared out for the year, I've barely watched at all (and it's only got worse with LBJ, Hart also out) and I'm not even checking out the recaps.

This is easily the most disinterested I've been in a Lakers team ever. If we're lottery bound, that's one thing, but there's not even a single guy I'm interested in to see if they can develop their game. No superstar, no potential star (d'lo, BI, Zo, Julius), no young guy with potential I like (Zu, Hart), nothing. I like when Mo comes in, and still think Kuz can be part of a championship core, but they're not enough to get me to watch a game. Maybe I'm not a true fan, but I've never watched less Laker basketball in my life, by far.

This true for anyone else? I can't wait for game 1 of next season to start...

I'm right there with ya...

edit: For me it has a lot to do with my lack of faith in the front office which makes it depressing at the moment, hoping for a brighter future next season.

Still watching more than half the games, not foregoing family activities or laggy feeds as much.

Caruso is giving me ample reason to set time and other activities aside again.

No, I would rather focus on my youtube channel, and the mountain of assignments I have. They are putting an unwatchable product on the floor.

Nope.

Check scores, maybe watch highlights if they win on youtube.

man...this is an awful thing to say (what a surprise, right?)

but I actually think if we the fans literally boycotted the games (no watching, no going to games) in a significant enough way, i think that would create a "force" that would increase our odds of off-season success. but you have to not watch the live games.

As much as I talk (bleep) about the current state of the Lakers, I'll still tune in and depending on how the first quarter goes determines whether or not I finish the game lol.
