2) Man agrees to pay waitress 20% gratuity per Attendee.
3) 30 attendees arrive at party and break no rules, nor cause any disturbance.
4) Restaurant arbitrarily calls Police.
5) 8 Police arrive and determine there is no disturbance.
6) Party attendees are lined up in single file and escorted out by police.

I gave that some thought. Probably drinks/beverages received before food orders
People seriously underestimated the effect

I bring it up because the local restaurants/bars and downtown businesses didn't like the homeless trespassing/loitering. Police told them they can't drive over for simple trespassing. Cops told them or they agreed to lie and say the homeless were breaking into cars so they could come down there to force them to get lost etc . *If you Google Kelly Thomas and see his face.. I followed that case way too tight. Probably (bleep) with my brain knowing they can do that

| None of the poll options were the correct response? My best friend is black and when we went to Johnny Rockets as kids, there was a definite difference the type and speed of service we received. Funny thing is, that this kid came from a wealthy family and would always have plenty of cash on hand when we went out and tipped well. I remember a time where we waited for 30 minutes for someone to take our order and every waiter we questioned told us, "you're not in my section". Servers are racist. |

Mixed. White mother & Black father. I was shat out into the world from that mixing complected much the way Barrack Obama was. Mom had 2 siblings, and dad had 12 siblings, so I've about 50 cousins, the overwhelming majority of which share a complexion with Obama & I. And at no time during my 50 years on the planet has it ever been even remotely a secret that we darker skinned people use lotions at a much higher rate than lighter skinned people and I couldn't come close to counting all the times it's been joked about throughout the entirety of my life. An through all those years, this is the first time anyone has ever suggested speaking about that fact is somehow racist? That's as silly as suggesting that referencing somebody with an afro using a pick is somehow racist. Ahem, no. It's a simple notation of fact...

So 8 cops being sent to an establishment where 30 black people are present together for an engagement due to an ignorant employee surmising they MIGHT not pay their bill, even though there was a specific contract present not only detailing how their bill(s) were to be paid, and guaranteeing that ignorant employee a 20% gratuity per patron - is the type of fiasco that generally only happens to a very select portion of Americans - Black People.
It would be extraordinarily rare to see a group of 30 Black Americans:
1) Wearing MAGA Hats
2) Going Out to Dinner in Designer Flip Flops
3) Wearing Camo Hunters Gear
4) Have a Pomeranian waiting for them in the car.
Additionally, after an exhaustive search, I could not find any other group of Americans having endured a similar fiasco (Although I sadly did unearth a few other stories where other Black People were similarly mistreated. But no Asian, Hispanic, or White stories)
