Growing up a kid in the 3 peat era, these were easily my favorite Laker teams. 2007- 2011 sweep to Dallas. It was all downhill to this S show from there. We were competitive after that series for a couple years, but never a true contender. Basketball reasons, failed Nash trade, Kobe snapping his Achilles carrying Howard. The only really great moment in my opinion since that was Kobe’s last game, but it was an insignificant game.

Pau made a mini-career out of blocking Allen/three-point shooters in the clutch.
The Spurs could've used him in 2013. _________________

Seriously! I keep saying (especially when people say he's soft or doesn't play D), that I've never in my life seen someone with more game saving blocks than Pau. Not Hakeem, not Kareem, nobody.
ain't that the truth. just think, we'd still be in the tail end of the CP3 era.
It’s pretty eerie if you think about it. I forgot which commentator said it but right after basketball reasons happened the analyst said this one act from Stern would set the franchise back at least 5 years, calling it beyond devastating for the franchise. Looking back now they were right on the money. _________________ "We are the goodest." - Shaq ESPN interview
