The only reason people considered Melo was under the condition that LeBron will motivate him.
Sadly, that doesn't seem feasible if LeBron himself is set in cruise control. |

Why not but redundant with McGee and Chandler, if they go for 3pt shootings like Muscala/Bullocks then Abrines (I think he can shoot) or Markieff |

Morris recently signed with OKC so he's out... Melo is the only option at this point and he may not want to come.
The playoffs are a long shot, the young guys would have to really step up and play really big roles. Someone would have to become a "Superstar" player over the All-Star break and IDK if that's possible.
IMO we have some legit pieces with LeBron, Rondo and Kuzma...
Potential with Zo+Ingram+KCP.
Is that enough to make a run at the playoffs? That remains to be seen, however I will say this; if we make the playoffs no matter what seed, we'd be a scary team to face.
Does Melo help us make a push with those guys mentioned? More scoring, even less defense???
