Yes we got worse. Didn't care about the Svi trade but the Zubac one was downright awful. If we don't land big name free agents next season Pelinka and Tragic can go (bleep) off and take LeBron and his clown of an agent with them.

I like Bullock, he should be coming off the bench for now though.

Muscala being hurt doesn’t help his case trading away Zubac who was a big part of this team in the last 2 months.

The LeBron "I play defense only in the playoffs" James at Center and Kyle "Worst defender on the team" Kuzma at the Power Forward position lineup at one point during the game by Luke Walton was laughable.

True.. I mean on one hand you gotta look at Bron and expect more defensively.. on the other hand you're asking him to play 43+ min and be the PG/scorer at age 34.. I think Bron was expecting not to have to be Cavs Bron but looks like it's the same

At one point? Luke played the small ball lineup the entire 4th quarter.

But defense didn’t lose the game. Our offense did. We missed at least 5-6 easy layups in that quarter alone. That’s at least 10 points we could’ve had in this close game.

I don't think it's coincidence that it happened right after that locker room argument they tried to cover up.

Its hard to watch a team like this with LeBron just screw up so badly.

The team was not built with a proper vision for LeBron.

He draws people and you need shooters.

The defense has been mired in injuries and little effort.

These trades were panic trades to get anything that could shoot after the defense model failed.

As of now the trades combined are a negative.

Bye.

Nique said tonight we only have two guys in Bron and BI that constantly take it to the hoop ...said Kuz is never around the hoop for a power forward

Beas would at least take it to the hole once in a while

Bullock was a nice get, but losing Zu was huge. Terribly worse post trades for years to come if we can't re-sign Zu in the off season.

Besides that....the way we looked tonight, it appears we are ready for the off season and Walton should start packing. Sad sad season thus far

Lost a quality backup Center in Zubac plus demoralized the players who were almost traded for Anthony Davis.

Almost every player was in trade talks. Half of the team are on expiring contracts, and the other half will be in trade talks again soon. LBJ is facing the possibility of missing the playoffs, his first time since 2005. People should be shocked if the morale does not get worse.

Short term, it is close right now: It might be a wash or possibly a bit of an improvement. Long term, I'd say it is a H-O-R-R-I-B-L-E deal.

I've got no love lost for Beasley.

But losing Zubac and Svi...
That coupled with losing Thomas Bryant, Julius Randle, Larry Nance, Jordan Clarkson and DiAngelo Russell for nothing!

Did we just sit through 5 years of terrible basketball for nothing?

They were psychologically damaged by this assclown stuff that Magic pulled. Lonzo being injured also hurt.

We didn’t even get a 2nd round draft pick from the Clippers for Zu....

Svi and Beas for Bullock was a good move but Zubac and 2nd for Muscala looks like it was a poor trade. Jerry West bamboozled Magic on that one.

Don’t think anyone cares about losing clarkson and nance. We even got a first out of that deal, and cleared cap space!

Lakers probably weren't planning to pay Zu going forward.

That is why this Lakers' front office will never be successful. LBJ is not what he was and they think they can just add names and make it work.

Getting Bullock makes us better, but Javale and Chandler have been bad, so that potentially makes us worse. The sample size is too small to say.

The plan was always to maximize cap space.

The problem, IIRC, is that you renounce zubac only if you want cap space to sign KD.

Anyone else you could keep zubac while still signing the second max due to his low cap hold.
