Per Woj:

As @TheSteinLine reports, center Tyson Chandler is getting a buyout with the Suns and will become a free agent upon clearing waivers. Chandler will sign with the Lakers, league sources tell ESPN.

Much needed, this is HUGE for us.

Cool. I still remember him on the Dominguez Dons with a godawful tattoo he's since had removed.

Welcome to the Lakers, now McGee will have more energy to help the team with a reliable big on the roster.

Do we need to waive anyone? If so, I rather keep Jonathan Williams than Zu.

It sounds crazy because he isn't what he once was but this is a big difference maker for us I think.

Or whenever his first game is.

LG's had 5,958 threads about how much LeBron sucks in the past decade so we can move on from those chants easily enough.

Last year Chandler was a Top10 Center in rebound rate.

Williams on a two-way so he can just go to the G-League. We only had him 45 days anyway.

Check out his stats with PHX, he got a few 10/10 games... this signing could be like Detroit signing Rasheed in 2004 to lift them to the title.

Never thought I'd be so grateful to sign two journeyman centers.

So long Zion sweepstakes... hello playoffs!
