Also would someone please explain to me why the Lakers didn't re-sign Brook Lopez. Was it just his choice to go to MIL or were the Lakers not interested? Trading to Zubac to get, I guess, a shooter although Muscala isn't really that good of a shooter. Is this them just trying to open up a roster spot? Buy someone out if that's the goal.

Sorry for the ranting but Magic is starting to tick me off.

Brook wanted to leave... but it's not like we were begging him to stay in his hometown.

I think if he felt more appreciated we could have kept him.

I could care less about Zu, he's been hot garbage since he was drafted and only had a decent stretch just recently. We have 3 centers, looks like they may want to invest in Moe as our young C to develop instead of Zu.

Fat chance. Mo's probably waived this summer for no reason.

Zubac was 21 years old.....if we use that open roster spot on 'Melo, I will know 100% for sure who is in charge.

I have no problem with signing Melo, TBH, but to trade Zubac to do it... stupid.

West is making chess moves and I'm starting to worry like others that Magic is going out there like a trigger happy gunslinger.

Musacla is a solid player, not sure why people are complaining, he was doing good with the Sixers.

The Clippers will now show no ill effects from losing Boban.

Not sure why this deal was made..

I think Magic and Pelinka are in way over their heads.

Would have been better off with Kupchak minus Jim Buss of course.

Mitch made great deals, other than Moz and Deng which were Jimbo deals.

I don't think Magic has much of a clue, and Pelinka is a former agent with zero FO experience.

Recipe for disaster....

Sold low on both Zubac and Svi. Could've continued to develop them and use them for a bigger trade down the line. I don't see either Muscala or Bullock tipping the scales for us in terms of playoff contention. We fared much better at last season's trade deadline.

Starting to lose faith in Magic and Rob.

They're not over their heads, Beasley was a cancer, Zubac was just bait for something else. This just opens up a spot for some other player in the buyout market. Some say its Melo but I think it's not that. Besides you cannot win in this league without shooters.

I'm okay with this. We need bigs that can stretch the floor, bad.

Not to mention there's a bunch of good players that will be available via buyout, just hope we're not look at Melo.

Zubac will be an offensive force for the Clippers. He just got whistled when he arrived in the parking lot...

Solid game, hustles, shoots free throws well, nice touch, only 21!

SMH

We give away young guys so easily around here. Leave it to West to reep the benefits.

could have just signed Brook Lopez to have the shooter we needed...

no doubt Melo will be signed, which I have no issue with given where we are at in the standings, but to give up Zu is just reckless.

I don’t have an opinion on him really. I was hoping not to trade Zu and I was REALLY hoping to not get Melo. If we get some of the other names mentioned instead (Wellington, Stauskas) I’ll deal better.

By the way, where can Laker fans file grievances to the FO?

Magic
Pelinka
Jeanie

You all kind of suck

Quick thought, you can flip a player just by himself immediately, just not in combination with other players. So maybe Muscala gets flipped for another player and that team didn't have the roster space available to take back 2 players versus one.
