Maybe. But Bullock is taller, has greater length and athleticism. Not sure Svi can compensate for those things at the NBA level against starters.

Agreed. Bullock is 6'7", tall and athletic. Even Harden scored 30 last night, I thought Bullock did a great job defending him.

Great D, knock down 3 point shooter, athletic. I think maybe Lonzon wouldn't start when he comes back (Starting lineup: Lebron, Kuz, BI, Bullock, McGee). What do you guys think?

Harden was blowing right by him, but that may have been the game plan. As Marv eluded to during the broadacast, they were setting up beautifully for charges.

I thought he was pretty bad early on the game guarding him... But he adjusted well in the 2nd half. Best part about his defense that he able to guard Harden without putting him in the line a lot.

I believe the game plan was force Harden to his right hand and have him drive in for a charge. If not...it worked out pretty well. Bullock is long, can move his feet, gives a good defensive effort and knocks down 3’s...sweet

When's the last Laker to give you the same feeling?

Steve Nash?

Mike Penberthy.

Keeper!

He checks all the boxes and has innate chemistry with Ingram. Solid trade by Maginka

Just googled it to see what this blast from the past is doing. Had no clue he was on the Pelican's staff. LOL! Still in the NBA, good for him!

After watching him in the purple Lakers uniform during the loss to Philly, I knew he’d work out. He has good size and good instincts, it was just his shots weren’t falling. I just chalked it up to nerves, learning the players, and being on the road. That corner three from the Lebron dish and the Ingram screen on CP3 was the most magical play of the season for me. Lebron needs role players and shooters. It’s evident now. And being close to Ingram is just icing on the cake.

He's kinda refreshing to watch make 3s after the failure of Hart and KCP.

It was disturbing to watch Undisputed this morning as Shannon continuously criticized Bullock's defense, but excused LeBron for his.

Do people think that the Laker experience that Bullock is faced with through the end of the season will make him want to re-sign?

He's an unrestricted free agent, and I would expect a guy like him (who has been on low salaries up to now) to simply go with the biggest offer and the biggest guaranteed money. We have his bird rights and he has a 5 million cap hold. It will be interesting to see what he gets

I really really like what I see from him. He shoots 48% fro the three since he is in PnG. It is just fantastic. Only if Luke can find him more space and shooting opportunities. I would get him 10 shots per game to be honest.

Also for the next season I do not know if we have any right to him but I would rather pay him than KCP or someone else. Also his defense is not great but its not bad also. Somewhere in the middle.

Going to be hard when you have Kuz and Ingram also along with Lebron.

And he'd have no guarantee we wouldn't include him in an AD trade.

I don't see him going for much, honestly. Specially if he wants a long term deal. I could totally see a 25/5 kind of deal being the best he could get for a long term deal.

Maybe on a short term he could get like a 14/2? It'd take him getting insane exposure in our final run this season for him to top that IMO, even in this loaded offseason.

Not sure he will get that much. Even the 25/5 deal is questionable.

He is making $2.5M now. Slightly above the vet min contract level.

His Lakers stats are consistent with his career trends too. Plays about 30 mpg. Takes about 9 shots per. Seems to have his role in the League.

Like his game. Will be interesting to see if the FO chooses to keep him and if he will accept that same $2.5-3M ? Don't think he has shown much to exceed it IMO. Nice "familiar" role player.

Especially if the Lakers choose to trade away all the depth and need to fill the roster on the cheap. Perhaps they can convince KCP to accept about the same because he owes them for the last couple overly generous contracts. IMO both do the same thing with about the same impact.
