I've lost track of players who were supposedly great shooters or "3 and D" guys who come here and immediately lose the ability to shoot.

Playing in LA and being under the spotlight some times get to players.

Magic may soon begin to realize the Cleveland model Griffin created around LBJ was in place and successful for a reason.

Magic and Rob have the entire team in turmoil right now. Maybe this gives us some short term boost and frees a little cap for next year.

Hopefully the South Bay Lakers will be ready for the onslaught when Svi comes for his revenge.

Look on the bright side. You can now attend games in Detroit because it’s dirt cheap there and they have zero attendance in their new arena. Maybe Svi will see your homemade sign in his native language and he’ll wave his T-Rex arms at you... 😜

He's from Ukraine.

I wouldn't recommend buying a plane ticket to spend a week in Detroit of all places in the US.

I'm sitting in Detroit right now (actually Grosse Pointe, but close enough). Detroit proper is rough as fk though. The freezing rain isnt helping much either.

I disagree, food size has to be over 6'8" or the pizza is just not big enough.

What's Bullock's cap hold this summer? Could be a nice S&T piece / way to vault over the cap if we get a Max FA.

Bobby Marks
ESPN

Detroit went from a team that was $482K below the tax to currently $2.6M with the acquisition of Svi Mykhailiuk and now Thon Maker. The trade with the Lakers for Mykhailiuk allowed Detroit to pursue Maker and stay below the tax. Maker has a $2.8M cap hit this season and $3.6M in 2019-20. He will become a restricted free agent in 2020.

Let me guess. Great move for the Pistons and terrible for the Lakers, right Bobby?

Lol at great move.

Expiring contract. Probably won't be around next season. At least we get some outside shooting.
